Hi guys

64 days today, not that counting, lol!

Let’s all start the week off with renewed/continued hope that we will beat gambling. Good news for us, we are not gambling, bad news for the gambling industry, they are not getting richer off us, ha, ha.

Shaun

Yayyy £64 it won't be long when you are shopping in Primarnie, just don't go on Black Friday this week, it be bedlam in Manchester.

Has your wife noticed your personality has changed, my friend said today I seem so much happier and relaxed. And she ask where my mobile was, I said in my bag why, oh nothing she said, I knew she meant it was always in my hand even in company.

Keep smiling hunmi - Belz xx

Hi Guys

All is fine and chilled out, I hope you are feeling the great love also, everything seems calmer without gambling. Just goes to show, why would we participate in an activity which has the opposite effect, nah, gambling is not for us, they can keep it.

Speak soon

Shaun

Hi all

Message for today, don’t get tempted by gambling or have fantasies of putting £13 on a number in the roulette machine and it coming in or even hitting the spin button on the slot machine and all bars coming in to give you £500.

Instead, get angry about gambling and gambling establishments, think about the lost money, time spent, lying, cheating, missing out family events etc. Keep all these thoughts and get angrier and angrier, now say, ‘gambling you have taken a lot away from me but you are not having any more’.

Hi Sean,

A massive well done to how you have put a complete stop to your gambling ways. It sounds like we have both been in the same boat with the Fobt roulette. Only thing is I’m still there but no more. I’m feeling sorry for myself today and I have a lot to work at. But people like you are my inspiration and what you have wrote has snapped me straight out of the feeling sorry mode. I wish you all the best in your future. Will keep in touch.

Hi guys

Looks like the FOBT’s stake cut will be moved back from Oct 2019 to April 2019 - about time the govt saw sense. A few years too late but I hope it will save some souls, leading them to a better life.

Take care.

Hi Shaun..
Just letting you know. I've had migraine all day and night and not added messages. No gambling. So glad I stopped when I did. The money I would have lost I have it now for a removal van for moving.
Chat tomoz.

Hi guys

10 weeks today, wow, doesn’t time fly.

Going to BHAM city centre today, full of me old haunts but feel I am adequately equipped to deal with anything gambling temptation throws at me.

I now know that gambling is just a clever con trick and I get no pleasure from gambling but just the illusion I do. The second point is funny if we think about it, we lose hundreds in a session of gambling and still think we get a ‘buzz’.

Speak soon.

B’HAM successfully negotiated, as I walked around nearly all the bookies were empty and hardly anyone playing the FOBT’s, penny is finally dropping.

Here’s to a successful week ahead for all of us.

Cheers.

Hi guys

Looks like the betting industry is being shaken up - about time!

Apart from the FOBT’s stake cut, yesterday it was announced that the betting establishments have ‘voluntarily’ decided to meet up and look at their practices. 18% of adverts on the TV are about gambling, in some European countries gambling adverts are banned.

I don’t think it was voluntarily though, me thinks someone from government said, ‘guys clean up your act before we get pressure from the public and make you do it’.
