Day 181 for me on this final check-in. This challenge has been brilliant for me, really helped to keep me focused and gave me a goal - which of course I have now hit!

Thank you so much to you all on this thread without you I don't have this challenge or this site and who knows where I'd be and of course to our host a special thanks, thanks for taking the time to set up the thread and for all the time it takes to run it, keep an eye out and be strong with your words of wisdom throughout.

I'm a happy man today knowing I have completed this challenge, knowing that I can do this, if I set a goal I can complete it. I will set a new goal and I will get there to and re build my life and take it back!

Thanks again, see you on the next one!!

Dear forum members, challengees and the ones who is just reading from the outside.
This challenge has been a huge incentive for many of us. My personal journey went up and down and yes, i did think of giving in on numerous occasions. Yet, i fought and keep fighting every single day.
Recovery is not easy, it is very challenging and exhausting at a times. Every day is different and those weak moments are just round the corner...this is recovery. We deal with ups and downs, we cry, scream and throw dummies out showing the world that something what gave us release and excitement must be present in our lives....yet, deep down we know that with release comes this horrible failure feeling, hater and dissapointment, lies, ..we know what addiction has to offer & that's not pleasant at all...it just ends with flat line...
Recovery teaches us how to dive in the unknown. Go through the worst emotions and come out the other side. Even if just for today, progress is being made!.
I would urge you all to stay with recovery, persue your dreams and most importantly - forgive yourselves. Life is for living, time is priceless. We all work hard towards our future and I'm sure you all will agree that even one smile raised during the process is a lot more rewarding than a tear in loved ones face.
I am proud of every single one of you. The foundation has been set. Recovery is possible and only us are in control of making it real.
Keep up the good work and stay close by the places/people who inspire you to stay on the right track to complete harmony in life.
Just a qoute to sum up the journey we are all on
"It shouldn't be easy to be amazing. Then everything would be. It's the things you fight for and struggle with before earning that have the greatest worth. When something's difficult to come by, you'll do that much more to make sure it's even harder--or impossible--to lose." --Sarah Dessen
You're all worth the best things in life!
Keep reaching for them - one day at a time
Thank you for your time, feedbacks, encouragment and support on this challenge
You are all stars i am very proud of ☺
Sandra xx

Ps. This is a lil copy from previous challenge i did last year but the most important thing is - the thought process haven't changed. I can only repeat everything i said..We reap the rewards in this journey no matter how small they seem to be some days.

Again...thank you one and all - this challenge wouldn't of been the same without your contribution.

Today is another win & tommorow is yet another challenge to stay on the dry land. I'm in for it..are you? 😉

Take care all and very well done!

Thanks

S x
