Well this is day 1 of my "Better Life" diary. I can't live the life I'am living anymore and today needs to be my start to a better future, for me and my family. I know it's going to be difficult but I will give it my all. I don't think I can get any lower than I'am right now, so as they say the only way is up. My main reason for going on the slots is to pay my debts but I'm just making it worse. I am where I'am and the sooner I stop the more I can pay back which will make me happier each time.
Hi Linds
Welcome to the diary section I've read you other thread and it might be a good idea to copy and paste the first post from there to here so people see a bit more why you're here.
You've been given some great advice try and implement as much as you can. I get your concern about telling your mum but you will find majority who do well at beating this addiction have support around them, yes people will be upset and dissapointed but I always think they would be more so if you didn't ask for help. I'm not saying it's the only way to succeed but it was the key for me accepting I can't gamble anymore and becoming accountable for my actions.
You've made a good start keep close to your diary share your thoughts good and bad, read other diaries take ideas and inspiration from them.
KTF I look forward to following your progress.
How you getting on today Linds?

How you getting on today Linds?
Hi
Well day 2 complete, feeling positive about not gambling as I'm thinking about all the reasons why it's so wrong and it's making say no more of that anymore. Time to move on and change my life for the better.
I did try and copy my intro on the diary but I couldn't do it for some reason?
Well it is day 3 today, feeling positive and don't want to gamble, it's knowing how much debt I'am in that is making feel strong about not giving them anymore of my money.
Well done on reaching day 3 Linds - great work. They don't deserve your money for sure! Look forward to seeing those days tot up for you.
