Plenty of us with diaries on here actually don't "do it" Baljit.....,we take the steps needed ,and put the blocks in place at the start of recovery.

Thanks for your birthday wishes to me Baljit. They are much appreciated

I read on your diary today that you lost some more money yesterday.

The sums you are losing are huge Baljit, seeing as your pay is about £1100/month. You must stop, and stop now, and you can stop. It is hard to stop but it is possible, and it is very important that you do, for your sake and for your family’s sake.

Please try harder, read all the advice everyone is giving you, and act. Action is very important. Nothing will happen unless you close accounts, limit access to money, and find other interests. You can do it, but you must put in real effort to win the war.If you need someone to talk to, give me a call.

Best wishes

Himmat

Baljit -

Gambling is addictive. You are addicted to gambling. Therefore you cannot gamble AT ALL. Until you accept this, and cut your access to money, no-one can help you and you WILL lose your home.

Giving up gambling is hard - but is it as hard as being homeless? NO. Does your wife deserve to be made homeless, because you have constantly REFUSED to help yourself by blocking your access to money? I feel really sorry for her.

Sort it out Baljit

Baljit

I must have been looking for your diary whilst you were posting.

Was going to say hope you have stayed on the straight and narrow, and stayed away from the bookies.

Know the answer to that now.

You know what you need to do IF you really want to stop. Heed the advice of all the people who have taken the time to post on your diary.

Like I say though, it has to be you that wants to stop. If you don't want to stop then no amount of advice will help you.

I wish you well

Baljit,

Make a decision PLEASE!!! you have 2 paths you can choose:

1) continue to gamble and lose everything

2)COMMIT SERIOUSLY to quitting gambling and put the hard work in to make it work

Please choose one, and stop this P****** about. Its only as difficult as you make it.

I wish you well.

Hi Baljit, just been reading your posts...man you seriously need to start helping yourself...nobody here can perform miracles they can advise you but the rest is completly upto you. From what i have read in your posts it seems like you have easy access to money...theres a problem right there...make it harder to get access to that money and you will see things improve a little.

Help yourself and you'll get better, listen to those who have been through the same thing and try to use the advise and also learn from their experiences. You can do it, if you want to...the question is do you really want to? Not "Keep Going Back Why!" as you already know the answer to that question is because your a compulsive gambler like many of us here on this forum.

Hi Baljit,

The only person that can stop gambling is you. You are the only one that can make the right choices.

And you CAN!

With all of our support and you honesty on this forum, it can be done.

Now I await one piece of happy news as pauls said. And I don't want to hear of any wins through gambling - that is not classed as happy news as we all know what happens to any rare wins....

Please have a lovely gamble free weekend.

November (73 days to go!)
