Although it feels like all your good work has been undone, remember that occasional gambling doesn’t mean you’ve failed and are back at square one. This is an opportunity to learn, a chance to remind yourself of everything you’ve accomplished so far, and to re-focus on your goals.
Maybe you could you take a closer look at what led up to you gambling again yesterday. Can you identify any triggering factors? If you’re able to reflect on what happened, this could help you try to come up with ways to prevent it next time.
