The urges have disappeared and the money from my ppi claim has been spent wisely into savings and a lovely weekend out for dinner and and a few cocktails on the saturday just gone was really nice. Going Christmas shopping on Wednesday finally get a day off during the week 🙂

So things are looking up for me and I am feeling positive again. I hope everyone else is still going strong. Hope Monday wasnt so horrible for everyone 🙂

Kind Regards

Good Evening Mate,

A massive well done for passing 6 months. You didn't make a big deal about it on your thread but it most certainly is a massive achievement. Glad those urges have subsided. Like you said the money has been put to good use. That is a real credit to you and just offers further proof of how far you have come.

Like you said it will be soon be Ho Ho Ho and I just cannot wait,

Well Done again,

Flagg

Day 195,

Wow I am nearly at 200 days gamble free moving closer to a year I am over half way now that would just be incredible to reach a year gamble free 🙂 also I would have been with my wife over 3 years 🙂 things are going well at the moment.

Had a good messy night last night watched the ricky hatton fight. and had a few to many southern comforts. and jager.

All in all good things keep happening and it is just so much better than gambling.

Hope everyone is well.

I am getting worried with christmas round the corner money seems to be going very quickly and I am getting worried its time like this when I look to gambling to try have more money for Christmas I don't know what to do 🙁 and I dont want to get any more debt like credit card or loan again I can't afford it I am paying back to much debt already because of my Gambling.

ricky bud

it happened to me too last week i got xmas presents and thought i could win some money to cover them luckily i didnt act on it and neither will you my friend, you nearly at the honeymoon and you put tremendous work in to get this far, no point throwing it all away, you have had urges from time to time im sure and you dealt with them.

what i would say is ok you may be a bit short for a little while but you gamble and you short for a long time and you wont have had the nice xmas either

today i will not gamble

Morning Mate,

As Carl said most of us have it tough over Xmas and what you are finding is the addiction is trying to spot a weakness. You know when you sit and think about it even if money is tight gambling will only make it worse. You can make it through the next few weeks mate and that honeymoon will be here before you know it.

Being busy is going to be a good thing at the moment and do try and post on here when you can. I find if it's a bit tough just getting on here and writing it down can help make things look clearer.

Sure you will stay strong mate,

Flagg
