A year on gamble free

Still going strong I see mate 🙂 well done. Next Wednesday you join the 100 club and most definitely you deserve to get there. Hang in there for those last couple of weeks. Like you said it's closing a chapter of your life and opening a new one which will be so much better if you remain bet free. Check in tomo 5 weeks already gone in the 90 day thread!

Thank everyone for all the nice comments and support it is very much appreciated. 🙂

Well it is Saturday and a very nice hot day indeed so going cycling with my wife to see her family then going to the cinema to see that new film called Brave it looks quite good. Then chill out ready for Saturday Night T.V Just making the most of the day before I have to go back to work tomorrow which will be my last working week in the army. Very exciting stuff and during that week i am very determined to reach my target of 100 days 🙂

I never thought I would be able to get this far. But with the support of everyone on this site and my wife and determination from what gambling did to me, it is possible to stop. My next target after this will be to complete Flaggs 90 day challenge 🙂

I think it is very good to have little milestones or goals or targets to give you that extra determination and motivation to get there. Just to help you along your road to recovery.

Just a quick pop in to say thank you for all the kind support it really helps and everyone on this site is so supportive and you have all really helped me to get where I am today.

I am on guard duty today so sweltering in my uniform in a guard room isnt fun but keeps me away from gambling. I am working on my health and fitness now as well to look good for my honeymoon so taking that seriously with my wife. But as far as no gambling goes it is staying well at bay and i am starting to live my to the full. I am just so glad i was able to stop otherwise I would be in a much worse place right now.

Well today has been busy at work but a good evening did my week shopping not one ounce of bad food. Eating healthy and it going well trying to keep myself busy and fit to take my mind away from any urges I might get when I think I have reached my goal in a couple of days I don't want to fall off the band wagon.
