You know, for me anything could be a trigger but milestone days are also a trigger for me. I have to be really careful if I am going to count days because when I see 3 months or 6 months etc. I have gone out. I think that the odaat is the main focus and I must remembe that... as I get another distance away from my last bet i want to keep to the day at hand. Do you get triggered by being gamble free for periods of time also? Great that you came right back. We just have get back and keep on going. progress not perfection. I have not gone to ga but I've learned many slogans. T2

I managed one whole day before chasing back what i had lost but am ready to go again and know I can do it, its just a case of putting one day in front of another. If I win, i feel bad for gambling and worry im gonna lose eventally and if I lose then i feel bad for gambling and bad for losing money so it really is a pointless exercise. Im getting major twinges/butterflies to 'win it back' but I know deep down its over. Need to start having some integrity.

Been a few years since I last posted. Reading some of my past posts makes me realise how much better my life is without gambling but it never really leaves you, its always something that lingers in the background so you need to keep on your toes. Since I last posted in 2015, i gambled for a short period after a trip to Vegas. It was silly to not prepare to be around so much temptation and I sort of redeemed myself when I went to Vegas again this year and didnt gamble a penny. Feeling proud was far better than any win i could have made and it felt good telling my wife when I came home. I could have got away with gambling as nobody was watching but I remember someone once told me that integrity is doing the right thing when nobody is watching. I hope everyone is doing well, and I know 100% that we can all have a better life without gambling
