Nice one, I am on day 30 myself in which I am proud of! Funny you should say that about 7 years ago I spent a lot of money on pretend money to play a gambling game/s to win more fake currency... it is deffo insane!
Its officially day 40, 40 full days without a single gamble.
I'm keeping myself busy with other things and spending time with family. I deleted all the games I had on my mobile phone at the start too specially the ones that give options to buy coins or boxes ect to progress to further levels. In the past when playing them I would rack up costs, I believe it gives the same fix ? as it did playing for real money. Sounds so sad but just shows the extent of my problem I had. Spending real money on pretend money, who actually does that lol

Crazy isn't it, spending real money for fake currency, I mean could you imagine how we would react if we was paid fake money yet happy to spend hard earned cash on it lol. Bizarre but I think you get the same fix from fake currently also.

Day 46 today ??
Its amazing how we can quickly adapt once we have the mindset to stick with something. I could never of imagined after so many years gambling that I could actually stay away from the slots. The blocks are very good and the people on this forum are so kind. Makes it easier to know your not alone.
My nights now consist of making sure I am in the group chat, I really enjoy being in there. I love to offer advice, I do feel im a good support but just a shame until 46 days ago i couldn't take my own advice but I'm doing that just now thankfully.
Usually each day I would normally be counting down to home time from work so I could gamble where now I wait patiently for 8pm to join the chat. It give purpose and motivation and also keeps my free time busy.
So thank you all for making this journey easier for me.

Wow wow wow. I officially made it to 50 days gf ?
If someone told me 50 days ago I would of been able to astain from gambling for this long I would of laughed my head off. NOT A CHANCE I would of said. But here i am, its been the best decision I've made in my life. 12 long years of gambling... its been hell. Month after month of spending my wages and chasing my losses so I can pay bills. Telling lies to cover my tracks to hubby and family of why where skint and unable to do things. But no more, I'm free!
Next week will be my 3rd payday since starting my journey. The 3rd payday where MY money will stay in MY bank and not the bank of the ceo of the sites I played. Sorry not sorry.

I'm finding i don't even think about slots at all now. So mad how your life revolves around it and then just nothing.
Obviously my hubby doesn't know I chose to do this journey by myself as he suffers with his own problems at the moment and I didn't want to add to that. He knew I was on the slots daily during my addiction. He thought I played free bonus spins ect.
