Well done, your doing so well, really glad to read how far you have got GF, keep going, stay strong and the future will be bright.
Cheers aston aye doing ok hope everything good with you
Well guys was off ga6gor over 200 days then bang messed it all up think have to accept will ever beat it
Day 224 guys then mess up back to square one again deep down I know I will never beat it
Cheers for you reply dave aye was brilliant not gambling for such a long time just disappointed in myself but will definitely just be a blip
IÂ so agree with above.
You really need to look at this from a different angle, praise yourself for doing so well. The lack of stress and all round peace you will have felt for 224 days will have helped you so much towards healing mentally.Â
The blip you just had, get it down on paper and try to work out why it happened in a constructive analytical and positive way to help you in the future.
Get back on the horse and continue the good that you have achieved so far and look forward, then watch yourself keep on improving.
Victories are great, but its the forward momentum and general continued improvement that should be measured just as much as the g/f days.
You have still got this, learn from it and don`t be so hard on yourself.
@lids19635 Cheers lids not sure why I gambled probably had a couple of beers after work didn't help still I do that every Friday after work and been ok still it is what it is trying not to beat myself up to much nobody forced to do it need to look myself in the mirror work hard and move on

@gazza8888 - hey, read your story! Well done on 224 days gamble free, that’s incredible. I agree with the above, that’s amazing and you should focus on that!Â
Of course you feel mixed after your lapse, but try not to let it beat you up. Leave it in the past & start a fresh again, you’ve got this!Â
all the best & take care x

@haystack0915 hi 2 weeks is brilliant honestly the first few weeks are the hardest it does get a bit easier but always be on your guard as I've just found out to my cost keep your chin up and always here aswell if you need a chat keep up the good work take care x
Been gamble free 140 days......yip you know it until tonight had a few bets absolutely guttedÂ
Honestly don't think I will ever be totally gamble free just can't beat it soul destroyingÂ
Reading this thread, you are well upto going 100+ days without a bet. 2 days in 350+ days is superb.
Â
Maybe you will NEVER 100% quit but you seem in a much better place given your gambling TWO days a year. Stop day checking? Dont feel disappointed, tomw, is a fresh day and you clearly can go days without a bet!Â
Affected by gambling?
