Day 94

A gamble free Christmas Day was a great improvement Triangle

Had s great day yesterday spent it with family it was great to have Jacob with me, he brought A few tears to my eyes when he came round and said it didn't feel right without me being there when he woke up on Xmas morning but for the rest of the day we had a great time great food and more than a few beers. My ex came to my brothers in the evening and I did manage about 2 hours or so and made my excuses and left. It just felt a bit awkward and thought it was best to go. Let her chill and enjoy the rest of the night so took Jake home for some chill out time

Today Boxing Day traditionally a day of football coupons and horse racing not today though I did get out for a few hours and watched a couple of games with no money running on it. I even felt a Little gutted for my mate who's acca was let down by a 93rd minute equaliser but that never happened to me lol I think I did have a few 93rd minute winners over the years.

I even left the pub with money in my pocket normally if I had anything left it would of ended up in the machine with the possibility of me going to the nearest bank to get some more money out as I was convinced it was ready to drop but not anymore came home to a roast cooked by my mum.

Hope everyone else has had a great time and if not things can improve and we all know gambling is not the answer

Day 97

Off to GA tonight well to someone's house who has kindly opened his doors due to the venue we use being closed not ideal but they are good enough to give it is for free. I don't have to go I'm sure I can get by till next week but I know he is putting himself out and I really enjoy it and they might be someone there who needs my support. I know one lad has had slip up by not attending a few meetings due to going to watch the s**m before Christmas I have spoke with him an know he is back abstaining but it will be good to see him.

Mate you are a inspiration, the last 4 months are split up with the love of my life not gambling related, i moved in to my brothers so sleeping on a sofa now, had a health scare which turned out fine and in the wake of it all gambled loads to escape it.
Christmas day was me on my own on a sofa crying

Day 99

NYE A day I really look forward to its my Dad and brother's birthday today we always meet up for a few pints in the afternoon a proper OldhamKTF tradition as my son would say. Normally I take them a gift nothing special it's even been lottery tickets in the past but this year I can't do the gift thing they won't care I know that I have given them my gift 99 days ago and there's a no return policy on that gift.

My lad will be coming with us and he is then spending the night with his mum then I'm picking him about 11 while she goes out to a friends party.

Do I get a telegram fom the queen tomorrow lol

I could go on everyone's diary and thanks them for there support and wish them a Happy New Year but they say you have to be a little bit selfish in recovery and to thank all the people on here would eat into my drinking time.

So have a good one guys and girls and I'll see you on the other side gamble free I hope.

KTF
