Well done Mark on 52 days 🙂 feels good to be marching along side you and counting the days together. Motivation to keep the day counter rolling and keep up with each other ! Thanks Sandra and ODAAT - enjoying thoughts of days out in this week off work. I'm definitely not going anywhere near bingo or slots and looking ahead to the future, not looking back.
Still annoys me I've accumulated so much gambling debts but they'll only get paid off if I continue to abstain and ensure I don't get any further into debt.

Day 54 it's hard being off work as usually I would've spent hundreds of hours gambling and got through hundreds of pounds in a few nights.
Pleased with myself for staying off the online slots. I got my new laptop today so I must make sure I install blocking software on this ASAP as although I don't feel tempted right now, who knows when that weak moment will strike and I need restrictions in place to see me through any future urges to cave in and have a gamble. Reading diarys and the 2015 challenge, I know how important it is to never get complacent. This gambling addiction doesn't go away. It's merely managed. Urges are best managed with the help of the triangle. Remove the opportunity to gamble. I must make that a priority now to secure a gamble free future .
Just awake to say "high five" to fifty five days gamble freeeeee!!!

Havent yet got gambling block sorted on new laptop but defo should make this happen soon, I will.
Selling on eBay keeps my mind off gambling.
Day 59 good progress so far - I'm happy I've resisted and saved myself getting deeper into debt this year. This site has been the conscience I've needed - helping me resist urges so I can keep counting the days and experiencing short term and longer term success. I know that one slip for me would be an unbelievably slippery slope and I'd hate to feel like I'd undone all the hard work in resisting this far.
Thanks to all who've supported along the way and I'm fairly sure I will see through 2015 without gambling. But early days yet I suppose. Need to remember relapses can happen at any moment and sad to read when people slip even having stayed gamble free for a sustained period.
Going out for exercise today - wish I was having same success with weight loss !!
Hi Clare, early exercising is more about getting healthier than losing weight so don't be demoralised!
I'm going to be taking a break for a while but before I go, I want to say Congratulations on being gamble free in 2015...I am not wishing your life away but I know you can do it - ODAAT
