Feeling up beat today. Not sure why but makes a change!

My whole persona and attitude changes for the better when I'm not gambling. I like this state at the moment and don't want to go back to the way I felt previously.

Hi Mrt thanks for posting your support on my diary. Im not sure if counting days is good bad or not of importance. To much in my head at the moment. Think the only thing I can do and others who are feeling the same is to take it 1 day at a time. Each day we go bet free has to be seen as a small sucess. Like you say working long hours is 1 way (of many) to keep the gambling addiction out of reach. Good thoughts - and thanks again for your support Blocked.

Another gamble free days passes. Work is continuing to be a great distraction. Have always enjoyed what I do work wise. Am diverting my energy into that now, along with enjoying family life.

Looking forward to my first round of golf for 3 months on Saturday morning. Although I have just checked the weather and think we'll probably freeze before we get round. Thinking up excuses already!

Onwards and upwards then. Tomorrow I will not gamble.

The end of a gamble free week. No urges to report which is pleasing, but don't wish to get complacent.

Getting ready for tomorrow's early start. Never had an issue with side bets on the golf course. Not good enough for that! Closest I get will be 50p for nearest the pin on the par 3s. Jusr a bit of fun.

Feeling positive still, even though I've got about 5 years left of sorting out the financial s**t! Mostly not gambling related though.

You sound a load better and I feel happy for you. I'm like you M...years and years in front of me paying off the gambling debt but as every month passes it reduces and that is a good feeling. I hope you are around in a few years and we can celebrate our financial freedom.

Another day gamble free passes. Enjoyed golf this morning, even though I played like a total a**e! Haven't played for 3 months, so certainly got my moneys worth.

Afternoon spent with the family. Watched a bit of footie, went shopping and generally larked about.

Thanks for the messages of support. As always, makes a difference.
