Hi all,Â
I have relapsed once more.Â
Again I stopped before spending everything, but that's not the point. The point is that I relapsed and couldn't digest the losses. I have made peace now and willing to keep this journal active, thinking that I need to stick to gamble free life. By the way, the last November until May was great as I was completely GF.Â
Here's to proper healing and a gamble free life.Â
All the power to everyone, we are not alone, we can do this!

The losses are the thing that draw you back. That’s a lie, if you win big, you think you can win more. That’s the issue. Win or lose, we can’t beat the bookies. The only way is to forget the loses, forget the false wins. Focus on a life where your hard earned money is your money. You’ve done amazing to remain gamble free previously. What made you go back? Complacency? Thinking you were safe? Have a good look at why you went back and then lock that down. You know that you can beat this. You’ve been there before. Back on track, little slip resolved, back to beating it. You recognised the issue, huge congratulations for that; you came for help here, even better. You got this mate
Stay strong 💪Â

@p6z38njbqm Weirdfish, that's a great response, thank you. I know the issue that brought me back to gambling and that's definitely my way of life, my routine etc. It was mostly boredom and loneliness (while still working) that contributed into gambling again. I have made huge steps on changing this, and I feel that this was my last relapse. Of course, once you are a problem gambler, you are always a problem gambler, so I need to not let my guard down again. It's a battle for life.
I want to say how important is this forum and how strong it has kept me during difficult times, we are all in this together. We can all do it, including me, you, everyone. Keep strong!
