so ive started my journey into recovery, i went to my first Gambling Anonymous meeting last night and it was very insightful, obviously it shows there is alot of people out there that are dealing with exactly the same problem as you are and you're not alone, obviously it was pretty daunting sat in a room with complete strangers that ive just met and im sat there listening to there stories and hear people have been going there for almost 3 years and there still going even though they haven't gambled in 3 years and you think well if they have done it why cant i? so every Tuesday im going to make sure im free so i can go, i mean its two hours of my life that will better my life completely, i mean its early days Ive walked past the bookmakers today and really had an urge to go in and place a stupid bet, but as are mentor that was there last night said, rome wasn't built in one day and that's the motto i will be using.

Aaronf,

I hope you come on and update your diary and let us know that your are still in this fight. It would be a terrible shame to start a diary and retire after one post. I am sorry I haven't replied before now but hope to hear from you again.

If it was wrong a few weeks ago it is still wrong today.

Tomso.
