Day 6 bit of a sad day as daughter now left home to go to uni so stayed out all day as didnt trust myself not to gamble. so going to have a bit to eat then off to bed best place for me tonight. dawncarol who WILL NOT GAMBLE TODAY.
Well done on quitting, really keep strong and remember how good it feels to not be gambling.

Hi dawncarol, bit late to the party but a big welcome to recovery & a massive congratulations on your 1st week 🙂
Must be mixed emotions (sadness & pride) seeing your little one off but great work not using it as an excuse to gamble 🙂 You may find your dogs a great support especially through these early days (I know ours probably looks back wistfully on those times & all the extra long walks he got) but remember whether anyone replies or not, this site is always here for you!

Day 8 and still gamble free but not feeling very good about myself today im just one big mess. Looking at getting a third mortgage and i could be the one thats messed it all up though my addiction to online gambling, partner being really good about it saying whats done is done we cant change it just makes me feel like s..t. another day tomorrow so hopefully feel better in myself. thats all from me today dawncarol who will not gamble today 🙂 x

Day 9 not much to say today apart from had a good day and things are looking up compared to yesterday. oh and another plus i have had a gamble free day 🙂 dawncarol who will not gamble today x
Dy 11 didnt log in yesterday as had most of the family round for tea had a really great evening my daughter is also home for the weekend from uni. for the first time since joining this site didnt think about gambling at all yesterday. Things are looking up a long way to go still but like a lot of you have said one day at a time. dawn carol who will not gamble today 🙂 x
