Thanks as always for the support. Day 46 i think, approaching the big 50. Had a real good weekend, and I am off work for a few days this week looking after the kids, so my diary posting may not be every day.

So whilst the kids have been playing I have been doing jobs around the house and playing with them when I can, not thinking about or doing any gambling makes a huge difference, I can see an improvement in their happiness. So all in all good, even my wife is starting to feel happier which is a another big plus.

Anyway, hope all my friends out there are remaining strong and having fun in the sun.

take care

Phil

Morning all, day 47, and the sun is still shining, metaphorically speaking and outside. It is such a joy to be able to share in the happiness of those closest to me. My wife, even managing a smile and laugh which I honestly didn't think was possible at times, to be honest I didn't see a future for us at all. That is all changing, slowly which I think is the best.

I still have a long long way to go, but at least my journey is well under way.

take care and stay strong all

Phil

Hi Phil

Well done on 47 days gamble free! Nearly at the big 50!

Really glad that things are getting easier at home. I'm reading a book called overcoming gambling by Philip Mawer at the moment and would highly recommend. It is also aimed at the partners of compulsive gamblers and how they can help to understand.

Stay happy my friend, you're doing amazing!

Lovely to hear things are a little more settled at home. There is nothing richer than being surrounded by a loving family.
