I watched that link you placed on sadg's diary, very perceptive of you ! totally agree, its exactly right and what G is talking about. I really enjoyed the interview, shall i tell you what is really sad ? i know that each and every person posting on this site has so many gifts/talents be it business / sport /music or whatever.... and GAMBLING destroys them all ! it takes away everything that you have, if you dont look after your gifts they will leave you.
When i was 17 i learnt play guitar with a guitarist called Mick Hutchinson, he used to play with Pete Sears from Jefferson Airplane Starship. after playing one year my teacher said to me i was one of the best 4 talented songwriters he had ever met ! do you know what i did with my gift ? f**k*D it all away with my obession with gambling, YEP at 18 it all started !
My life could have been so different, like many people on here ! not anymore though, i am changing. Still time to put things right, even if it is only on a mental level.

Can't really write as my arms are so sore it hurts to type. Think I've got some tendonitis happening! And I have to figure a way to get out there and shovel off the roof (lower part only) or I'll have ice issues because temps are rising and there's gonna be a big melt. Wish I had money to hire someone! Serves me right. Wild 3 days at work. Have to fill you in later but thanks heaps for the posts and will catch up when I can. Be good to yourselves, people!

thx again folks... my arms are still so sore and it's painful to type ... doesn't help that I aggravate them each day at work and then always bring work home in the eve... spending as much time as possible icing them. Thanks for the link on my thread. Very inspirational guy. Amazing what we can achieve when we make calculated decisions and follow dreams. I like it when he said read a book, research, watch a movie etc just to gain knowledge and to understand how you can move forward with something. Softly spoken guy but he made me want to listen to him.
