Hi pals! 50 days and counting, feeling fab, feeling free from the terrible addiction which has hugely impacted by life but has also briught me here and showed me that us CG's are a great bunch of people who have temporarily lost the plot! I have met many virtual friends, even managed to get myself a stalker! Thank you everyone who has commented on my diary and gave me the support and encouragement to continue on the road to recovery. Thanks also to all who keep diaries which let us know we are not on our own. (annie's Oscar speech!)

Resignation handed in yesterday and today not a word was said by any of the 3 managers! I'm so glad I'm moving as working with these negative nerds is enough to bring anyone down!

Hello diary, well 58 days since my last gamble and couldn't feel better. Love not being tied to my laptop 24/7. Things are really looking up as I am finishing up work earlier than expected and getting over 2 weeks extra pay for overtime I have done recently. It's quite hilarious at work as my boss has not spoken to me since I handed in my notice - unbelievably petty but amusing that a grown man can act in that manner. But, just like my gambling addiction I am glad to see the back of him!

Hope everyone is doing well and for those struggling, take a deep breathe and continue on the path of recovery - it is not a race and if we plod along sometimes that's just fine. I've strayed from my path a couple of times but I am so glad I have rejoined it and look forward to adding to my 58 days and also look forward to sharing the journey with my fellow cg's. Love and peace xx

Well done annie on 58 days gf. And a nice bonus of extra pay and leaving sooner. And it's a lovely feeling not being a zombie sat on the laptop all the time and actually doing things with loved ones keep up the good work hun xx

Hi Annie , and thank you so much for your super kind post , you got me thinking back then to the first time we spoke and just had a quick run back through your diary , WoW ! how different you sound now than when you first arrived? now 59 days in , new job proud , happy and enjoying life with your loved ones , thats lovely darling and I'm so pleased that you managed to c.rack it and what a great feeling it is love and it just gets better and better .

So keep doing what your doing coz its definately working girl and I can't wait for another 41 days when I can be waiting to welcome you to the century club .!
