As the year ends to a close so does a chapter in my life. That of gambling away money at a casino on slots. Not easy but 2020 holds brighter things I pray. 

In my thoughts always those tormented at these tender times. Not always gambling related. 

I'm watching field of dreams.. A favourite if mine.. Promise I won't cry murlo..  

Endeavouring a run tomorrow. Keep you posted on that one folks.

So while I'm awake do something useful. 

As the year grinds to a close a gratitude list for the last 12 months..

January.. That I was given the gift to be a part of the forthcoming year 

February.. That we had sunshine this month

March.. Seeing another spring

April.. My mums fall was dealt with. She had surgery and is at home. 

May. My daughter found love. (long may it last) ❤️

June.. My lovely 5 days in whitley Bay 

July. Physio on my back beginning  to work.

August.. Another year married totalling to 34 years. ❤️

September.  Mr. B. R. Reducing his hours at work. 

October (12th) to be exact.. Last time I went to casino and found gamcare 

November.. Having the gift of another birthday. 

December.. Closing the year and nearing my target for abstinence from gambling. 

With hope and perseverance I want to keep travelling this gf. Road to a happier life. Oh I know there will be other obstacles hurled at me. 

I'm just going to wake each day with an agenda and fuel myself up to resist and keep a lid on it.

6.6 done roulette.. Vice captain now going to have a laaaaazzzzzzy day and a roast beef dinner later

Work tomorrow. I know it will be busy.. Track suit n trainers I think is the attire ?

Going to read after tele. 

Feel I need pep things up a bit. Getting a bit predictable with my interests.. Will sleep on that one

Think once nye is over there will be a more relaxed feel.. Some on chat dreading it.. Its 24 hours like any other day.. And let's think of goals for 2020. Far more important than one night's partying..

I wish everyone a good night's sleep.. Life stuff is so  much easier with the strength and tonic of sleep..

Busy day at work. Did all my jobs and now 2 days off.. 

Feet are aching and back but going take hot water bottle bed get cosy n read.. Hopefully sleep
