Great last post which sums up gambling to a tee!

I can think of a huge, massive list of why we should not gamble.

But I'm not going to.

I have better things to do with my life.

good morning buddy, thanx for your supporting presence in my diary.... hope you enjoying footy so far only for good reasons (myself finding euro quite entertaining, maybe apart from yesterdays germany-portugal game) and will look for another gamble free day ahead? hope you will always follow the straight edge, even if just for one day a time... all the best. stay safe and strong. K.

66 days today or clickety click, 2/3 of a century. I'll not gamble today, too excited about tomorrow (9 1/2 weeks). Have to start tidying the house, where do I start? Running round the house now putting the lid back on the toothpastes and the toilet seats down, first impressions count, I read that in 'Hello magazine.' Everything's ready , shoulders waxed, spots squeezed, athletes foot covered up nicely and the wig looks fab. Feeling dynamite. Bought a new suit from the charity shop, a little tight round the gut but still good, still smells of the last owner, hope he didn't die in them, reckon (by the smell) he definitely had an accident in them. Anyway better go, stay gamble free everyone and take care, Steve

Dump the suit man... Kim likes jeans and a T shirt, and not too fussy about toilet seats.... but nice move with the toothpaste. I read somewhere that the way a man treats his toothpasts lids correlates highly with the possibility of Kim Bassinger coming round for a brew...so it could be your lucky day.

Hope you are well and well done on your continuing success. Hope you are too knackered to post tomorrow.

Jon

Hi Steve, your posts are hilarious, Im sure theres some stand up comedian out there who would use your material !!

"Eyes down for a full house ", all the sixes - clickety click !! Well the full house goes to nine 'o' and Im absolutely convinced that you will reach that and fill your card. 🙂 Congrats on the 66, massive achievement friend.

Keep posting, and bringing a little cheer to this forum, you're a true inspiration.

All the best

o*g,

You fruit loop.

Laughed I nearly fell off my bed. It was the wig that did it.

Think if Kim does not turn up tomorrow, you may need to try speed dating, that way if change seats soon enough the young lady you were talking to will think the smell is from the guy sitting in front her.

Love it when your upbeat, brings a smile to that fairies face every time.

66 , next step turn it upside down and you will be on the eve of yet another big day.

How will you celebrate that one I wonder ?

What an exhausting day, finally reached 9 1/2 weeks gamble free. Leapt out of bed full of enthusiasm this morning, took jonb's advice and donned t-shirt and tight jeans. Bit of fake tan, Cuban heels and a well placed shuttlecock meant I was ready for business. Doorbell rang and I teetered my way towards it. I could see, through the mottled window, long blond hair, Hollywood brown skin wrapped in a kinky pink outfit. My heart raced. Unfortunately when I opened it, there stood Mickey Rourke, dressed in a pink spandex wrestling outfit clutching a toydog.

Despite my disappointment I invited him in. We chatted and drank tea, deciding not to eat, especially from the fridge. I told him about giving up gambling, he was great about that. We talked all afternoon, words came easy, no awkwards silences, the time flew. We went outside in the garden to wrestle, it was great, I never had any spandex so I had to use my spiderman pyjamas, but they were fine, few grass stains but nothing that won't come out on a boil wash. We laughed as he tore my wig off and forced it down my throat. Sweaty and exhausted we finally stopped and it was time to depart, (he was filming some film about rugby league up here or something). He was a smashing fella, we laughed, we cried together and not once did his face move, too much Botox he disclosed smiling, or at least he was trying too. We agreed never to see each other again, to keep this meeting special and as I hugged him goodbye I knew this would be a day I'd never forget. The spiderman pyjamas are now on a rinse, the shuttlecock in its draw and the wig back in its cage. 9 1/2 weeks gamble free, is doesn't get any better than that.

Keep strong, Steve.

Next target 75 because it's 3/4 of 100
