Off on my fishin match now. Not even a thought of gambling. Where did it all go? I gambled all the time, obsessed by it, loved it, revolved my life around it. I still believe that one day it'll break me but I'm still enjoying this feeling of normality and I truthfully want it to continue. I have to keep working on this, reprogram my brain, keep posting. When that stops, my affirmations stop, thoughts could creep in then, fester and grow. Gamcare is my weed killer. Long may my garden flower. Flower power. Make love not gamble. Tune in, turn on and turn off those gambling sites. If your going to San Francisco give your cash to someone you can trust or hide it in their hair. Steve i have a confession to make i was arsenal daft in 1989 i remember that nite pretty well i was 11 went cracker jack when mickey thomas scored in injury time i couldnt believe it it wass even better than dennis taylor winning the world championship snooker in 85 was it. I would have to say rocky rocastle was my favourite player at that time and his step over. And before that tony woodcock graham rix and the great pat gentleman jennings.

But an uncle of mine slagged me 4 years and years 4 wearing the jvc and eventualy it worked and now its just the hoops haha.

Day 107 of this journey. 107 sounds great, like an expensive perfume and I'm bathing in it. Been looking after Maisie, so I've not had an opportunity to post. She downstairs now feeding her dolls so I've got 5 mins. The sun has finally arrived and it feels great, soon I'll be able to take my coat off.

Treated Maisie to getting hair nails done in a big pink salon yesterday, she loved it, the fuss, the attention, the pinkness. It's probably wrong at her age but you know what, who cares. School report treat. We played football afterwards, she was so concerned about her nails that she fell over and banged her head on the wall. Luckily being a school first aider I knew how to react, gave her a wet paper towel and a bump note before sitting her in the hallway with the naughty kids. Seriously though no real damage, just bruising and a patternation of pebble dashing across her forehead, structurally though, the wall is ok which is a blessing.

Did well yesterday, walked past three of my bookies whilst checking out salons. That feeling of future expenditure mixed with the allure of my old haunts gave a slight tug on resilience. Fleeting as it was I knocked it back with disdain. Thoughts and feelings are one thing actions are another.

Better go now, time is important, my job here is done for today. Today I will not gamble because gambling is dog s**t and why would I choose to walk into that.
