Evening dear diary.... i hit a brick wall with regards to my exercise (done way too much)..... i walked 10 miles four days in a row and then on the fifth i went to work and was fine then went to the gym after and my legs were gone..... really struggled to walk home that day ....... so i decided to have a bit of a break and look after myself a bit better and come back stronger.

I still walked 7.5 miles that day and the next and today ive just walked the 5 miles and played some badminton and tennis with my mum and dad....

Also eaten some crisps and chocolate today first time in two weeks eeeek.

Going to weight myself in  a min......

Im 88.10 kgs..... happy with that....

Its Thursday , i just weighed 130.2. Which is good, im about to have large pizza and beer and then a full weekend of beer infused frivolity so come Monday it could be a cricket score, but shedding almost 3 kilos in a week went surprisingly well. Will take some repeating though if it all goes back on again this weekend. Have fun.

So this afternoon I weighed 86.40 kgs

It's not gone down in a week...... They say ur body gets used to the exercise and changes to keep the weight.

I've also had two days of pure resting to get ready for the step challenge next week.

Now I'm going to bed early (hopefully get some good sleep)

Tomo I've set the alarm for six am, then three weetabix, straight in gym...... See how I feel in the morning as to how many steps but I'll ease into the challenge.

I'm thinking the tortoise 🐢 is the way to win this challenge .....aiming to be consistent.....

My legs still feeling but sore but they were feeling fine when doing they walking so hoping the soreness eases off during tomo..... We will see.

Night....adam

131.4kg, which after the weekends intake is good for me. But Friday 10851, sat 12326 and sun 14959 steps as they were all decent pub crawls. Im happy with that as usually gain over the weekend and then have all week trying to lose it again. good luck n the coming week Adam.

It's fair to say I've gone well over the top with this work competition over the first two days.....

First day I walked 32000 steps 11 miles

Today I walked 42000 steps 18 miles.....

There's two major rivals that I know of one is on 45 000 for both days currently but is doing a marathon this Saturday eek which is 45000 steps alone

Second is one 68000 Soo far and is taking a third less time per mile than me which is worrying so obvs jogging rather than walking.

But presently I'm on 75000 and tbf it couldn't have gone any better....

I even managed to see thru and entire twelve hours straight to recover.

Boy I'm gonna be losing some weight too.

I'll go weigh myself.

evening 8 days later and here i am on the other side of the step challenge...... looking back i took it far too seriously...... in the first 4 days i walked 3 marathons worth of miles which i completely nuts........ Then i got a cough and cold and although i tried to carry on i knew i had to stop and took a half day off work on the friday...... then thankfully i rested over the weekend...... giving up on the challenge..... and getting my energy bck.

Now this week ive taken my foot off the training gas...... i doen 20 k steps on monday then jus done 10k at work tues weds thurs and no more after work.......

They had the awards for the challenge today and my team didnt win and i didnt win the most steps award either..... but im healthier, wiserand hav given myself a good name at work.

Got one more day of work and then 9 days off...... I had planned a few things but as im pretty run down ive cancelled and just going to rest and unwind for the foreseable future.

Recovery going great i seem to focus on one thing at a time and my health is the goal at the mo.....fresh food.....plenty of exercise.....plenty of sleep.....work hard.....keep flat in good shape....all things that help me.

All the best adam xx
