You will do this
Start of day 2. Feeling a bit more positive. Avoiding sport and thinking about gambling angles. Feel absolutely exhausted today.
Still staying strong. No thoughts of gambling. Just concentrating on my wife and son. Feel like a proper human again.
Coming to the end of day 2. Another emotional day but I feel like I'm moving away from gambling. I'm out that bubble and on to another stage in life now. I have other priorities and gambling ain't up there.
Day 3 - keeping focusing and no chance gambling happening today...
Well done on those first hard 3 days,
Keep going
Suzanne xx
Day 3 to an end moving to day 4
Day 4 done so can move on to day 5 now... getting there slowly
Great work Change, one day at time nice and slow, you can do this
Day 5 and getting through it then can move on to 6 and 7 and onwards...
Day 6 out the way and on to day 7...
Day 7 in the life of a compulsive gambler. One week down and moving on to week 2. Payday tomorrow. Vast majority transferred to credit card and to joint account for bills with only a tiddle left in my account for other direct debits. Leave the credit card in the car so it's not on my person when urges arise. Only small amount in current account. It's the only way it can work for me right now...
Day 10 done
Hi change
I hope your son is doing ok. My daughter was born at 34 weeks and was in hospital for 8 nights. The nurse said that thankfully there is more happy stories to premature baby's than there is sad ones.
I also gambled when my daughter was in hospital but the fact you came on this site despite everything that's going on shows that you can and will beat this.
Affected by gambling?
