So impressed that you have come through this with your head held high (it is a shame that the Sat Nav wasn't yours though)! if there is a 3rd thing, & it won't be gambling, so let's hope it's something daft like a favourite player being sent off or something!

Keep strong - ODAAT

Thanks ODAAT and Suzanne for your messages and continued support throughout my recovery diary really does make a huge difference.

Yea Suzanne I hope Carl is okay too a shame he's not posting here on a daily basis and I have worried before and he was still going strong so hopefully that's stil the case.

I'm aware this place is maybe not for everybody personally id go as far as to say it's the most important thing in my own recovery. I haven't attended any ga meetings probably would but there's not a local one to me nearest around 30/40 miles away and i haven't ruled it out and If I begin to struggle or slip I would consider it.

ODAAT the lads footy match got cancelled due to fog yesterday so I'll take that as the 3rd thing I think. Definitely won't be gambling I feel as secure as can be at the moment really impressed myself In recent weeks what with the unexpected bonus and then Friday episodes would of been an easy excuse but I'm not thinking of gambling at all.

Day 88.

No urges to gamble today despite the fact am aware of a full programme of games this evening and will be going to watch my local football league side tonight more out of habit than anything cos they've not been the most entertaining side to watch of late.

Day 89

Thanks trigger for you message and support.

Well good night last night both my 2 fav teams getting good home wins wasn't a bad game at all great first half then hanging on all 2nd half that's what happens when you have an ex defender as manager I guess.

Packed my son off for a few days today on a residential with his school til Friday tea time.

Pool to look forward to again tonight love a Wednesday so just out earning a crust til then.

No urge to gamble at all still and 11 days til the big 100 looking forward to reaching that milestone

Question...Is it actually permissible to have 2 fav teams? I know I'm a bird & all but surely there's rules about that 😉

Great work on 89 days mate! You might not feel like you are making great inroads to the debt yet but it's not increasing & you probably couldn't put a price on some of the stuff you have done anyway 🙂

Let today be the day you earn a whole slice 😉

Hey ODAAT thanks for your post and continued support and well no not really shouldn't have 2 favs I grew up as a young lad supporting Liverpool and had the likes of mcmanaman on my back what a player always used to be him in the playground.

Then in my mid teenage years was able to go to games myself with mates and started watching Morecambe every week and have done for 20 years. Could never have afforded to attend liverpool games on a regular basis have been to 3 in my life.

If they played each other I would be rooting for Morecambe.

When people ask me who I support and say morecambe they respond who's your proper team or who's your prem team etc so think it's common if you support a lower league team to have a soft spot for one of the bigger boys.

Not sure I'm gonna get the full slice today pretty dead had a decent couple of days so was probably due one rough with the smooth.

You are forgiven for being confused on my diary...I've been there the whole time & it's not been easy keeping up! I've just done a long winded post about why I don't write on it much but in short, I am doing brilliantly, no intention of ever giving my life back to the devil!

I have a Mansfield/Liverpool Northerner indoors...I will not let him know the verdict on this one & will continue to rip the P out of him @ every footballing opportunity 😉

Morecombe v Liverpool, I was gonna say 'you're having a bubble' but stranger things have happened in the FA cup...Go on the little leagues 🙂

Funnily enough it was Mansfield we beat 2 1 last night you must thank him for the 3 points. First win of the calendar year have mostly been fairly dull draws.

Tee hee, I didn't even know they were playing..have I been unsupportive & not listening to him again :-0 I will thank him later - if only to see the look of surprise on his face as he can't quite *** all of the stuff we talk about!

Enjoy your pool 🙂

Thanks ODAAT enjoyed my pool night only got a 5 all draw won both my games so was happy with that although would rather have lost and team won.

No thoughts of gambling at all again today and another multiple of 10 today.

Day off today before what should be a busy weekend with it been Valentine's day on Saturday. Girlfriend and daughter are on a dancing competition in Glasgow at the weekend so will make the most of it and having our day on Monday.

Well done 90 days taxi man, you're going from strength to strength.

I use to love pool nights,I aint played in a league for a few years now,my nights were more about the drinking than the pool.
I'm in the process of building a pool room/summer house,a come back could be on the cards!

Amazing how time has flown tm,keep it up mate.
