Day 277 no urges to gamble even with plenty of footy in this evening been down to watch Morecambe's latest 1 nil defeat. Scoring 1 goal in 4 games is not the most exciting start at least the one goal was a valuable one against the biggest rivals.

Day 279

Comfortable 7-3 win in the pool league 3rd/4th playoff effectively next week.

Out working all day today got the cricket on the radio to keep me company.

No urges to gamble at present

Thanks very much for the post and support Suzanne means a lot.

Been a very busy few days the end of August is a very expensive and busy time with birthdays every other day first 2 nephews then my sons today and Thursday is my Dads 60th then we have a break for a while.

Great game last night for liverpool best nil nil I've ever seen.

What's going on...1st the mighty (pahhhh, that's a laugh by the way) Morecambe finally get one over on the team with a made up name, then you walk the pool & now Liverpool putting a smile on your face! You're gonna have to look for some new teams to support...I wonder what Eddie the Eagle is up to these days, he won't let you down 😉

6 years is nothing & it may not even take that long if the new homebuyers ISA comes to fruition! I've not got my eye on the ball @ the moment (it may even be out) but it certainly looked like a great incentive & it may be worth you looking into it! Why oh why did we never see before how our dreams of riches were making us poor!

Hey ODAAT thanks for your post and yea am aware of them help to but isa sounds like a fantastic incentive and they will be launched towards the end of the year.

I still think I had the dreams and just wanted to win them for nothing unfortunately it doesn't work like that and I realise that now you have to work hard if you want the nice things.

When the time comes for mortgages etc at least I'll be proud to show my bank statements without several deposits to betting companies a day.

Haha I dunno morecambe were leading 3 nil at the weekend and managed to scrape a draw so they are still doing the job at the moment.

My Dads 60th today so just about to depart for big family meal.

Pool was another disaster last nite losing 6-4 from a sizeable lead there really is no justice sometimes 4 of us try are hardest for little reward and the 1 drunk been out all day cud hardly see the balls comes away with 2 victories unbelievable.

Big bank holiday weekend to recoup some much needed funds coming up.

Wow can't believe it's been a week since I've been on here that's gone really quick.

Yea thanks to both of you we had a lovely family meal 17 of us and he has a lovely bitthday and is now sunning himself in Benidorm.

Lol yea maybe a bender scientifically proven by Jubba hardly won a game til last week either.

Summer league now finished 4th out of 7 pretty bad after great start we made a few weeks now til winter one starts.

Yea he is back training now season starts 20th Sept. 9 a side now longer matches and bigger goals so should get a lot more playing time usually started on the bench cos he was new to the team last year with 2 extra players hopefully he will get to start more often than not.

Yea looking forward to them coming back at end of month to keep us busy and no taking it easy unfortunately with the expensive new arrival coming in 6 weeks.

For that reason there is something big gonna happen in my life today which I'm taking the girlfriend to the lakes for. Don't wanna say to much just in case but it's what I was planning to be on my year mark but had to bring forward due to the baby due in October so would struggle in November to get her to come away.

Eeeeee, how exciting (you can't see but I'm really grinning)...I hope everything goes perfectly to plan & maybe even a guest appearance from the Sun would be good!

Yes the sun certainly was shining on me yesterday was glorious.

I took my girlfriend to windermere stayed in a gorgeous hotel suite with a lake view to die for and amazing gardens for a very important question I had.

It was the same area we went to our first ever night away so was really special a different hotel but it was an amazing place and great choice.

So thankfully she said yes and I'm now a very happily engaged man and can't wait to marry my amazing girl.
