Day 65

Day 65 no thoughts of gambling at all today just a nice day at home maybe watch the game that's on and the 2nd leg of the pool in the local tonite shud hopefully be a formality with an 8-2 lead first to 11.

You better not throw that lead away, maybe you can even break your dry run 🙂

Nice one on 65 & I know what you mean about being vigilant, I think it makes it easier to dispel the urges quickly if they try anything on!

Thanks ODATT for you post and support. Certainly feeling so much more relaxed these days.

The opposition didn't show up for 2nd leg so we had a practise night between us still progress to the next round.

Watched my mate plough money in the bandit back n forth to the bank and left with an empty wallet seemed really weird watching it from outside certainly fresh in my mind today so definitely don't wanna gamble in any form.

Unexpected day off today boiler went on blink yesterday waiting on the plumber this aft thankfully rented this place so will be landlords expense.

Girlfriends out at work in the past I would of been on a gambling day horses on etc not a little bit interested.

I used to hate seeing people gambling next to me lose, even though I was always very jealous when they won! I certainly don't miss those feelings!

Thanks again ODATT for your support and yea it certainly wasn't a pleasurable experience watching it happen I kno a couple of em play it every week and I don't usually pay much attention just with it not been a proper game I was a bit more aware of what was going on.

No urges again at all and can't believe how much I've lost interest in it never thought this was possible as it took up so much of my time. Still fully aware to stay on my guard has urges have come and gone over the last couple of months.

Well done on day 67 mate, made up for you... you are flying!! Hope work has been good to you,

Day 68 no urges to gamble at all again today and the weeks seem to be flying by at the moment back around to wednesday just work and the pool match again tonight.

Really enjoyed watching the big match last nite best game of football I've seen in a while and the liverpool of last season looked to be back. Really deserved to win that game still in it for 2nd leg tho.

Day 69

Thanks nt for your post and continued support and yes it's amazing how much I'm enjoying watching the sport still on TV used to think I cudnt enjoy it without something on it personally and would bet on anything I planned on watching or live on the event as it happened but finding it better than every now watching it stress free which has been buzzing as I would of hated to have had to avoid watching any sport as it is my life always has been. Be it Darts, footy, cricket, tennis or snooker love a wide range of sport only thing I can never watch is racing.

Read something on ODATT's diary about seeing statements so was curious and went through a year of mine and it certainly has shock value amazing how I found that much money to lose and I certainly never want to go back there again.

Lost 6-4 in the pool match last night did win 1 of my 2 games and had enough chances to win the 2nd one but wasn't to be. We played current 2nd in league so quite positive.

Good productive day off today set up a couple of payment plans for debts I've been ignoring I was a bit suprised how I had to go thru security to set up a payment plan and did point out that if somebody was trying to hack in to pay my bill I wouldn't have a problem with it.

No urge at all to gamble today

As for the security...I was cloned back in the day for about 8 grand: all flights, all leaving on the same day & all going to different locations - my limit was about 4?!? This was the same card that put a block because I did a food shop somewhere posh one day! After phoning the card provider because I was over my limit (even I knew I had not spent that much), I had to go through a second security to speak to the fraud team...Crazy! 'Surely the activity on the account looked suspicious' I asked? 'Well' said the man on the end of the phone, 'you do make a lot of cash withdrawals!' Like that gave me some magical powers to fly on several different planes all @ the same time! & for the record, I only make all those cash withdrawals because you let me!!

Funny but I wouldn't mind someone hacking in to pay my bills either - aren't banks daft!

Day 70

Thanks ODATT for your post and continued support yea it was a terrible read and I'm so glad it stopped mid November the difference is there clear to see I hope to have a clean year to look back on in 2016. Unfortunately the loss on paper only probably equates to half the losses as there's no way of finding out how much went in the bookies cash wise.

Anyways I'm not gonna dwell on it the money has gone nothing we can do about that just plug away pay off the debts and have an amazing betfree future and right now that definitely feels possible as no interest in betting today and I'm loving it.

Wow 8 grands worth of flights no questions asked unbeliveable stuff.

WOW 70 days great going, good positive post, every day we don't gamble can only get better and better.

Day 71

Thanks ODATT but I hate the cold and think I'll leave that particular tip and yep the days and weeks are flying by do love seeing the days and weeks ticking on don't want to wish my life away though.

My team are away again this week other end of the country so just a long shift at work with the footy on the radio today.

Probably a good thing as we have a family wedding next Saturday so will need to replenish the stocks today as it's an expensive week coming up and a lost Saturday nights takings. I would of panicked and gambled to try and pay for it in the past not today even though it's a Saturday I've had no interest or urge to bet today which is a real positive.

Thanks for the post nt and yea I'm really looking forward to it weddings are about the only time I give myself a Saturday off.

Think the worlds gone mad today what a set of results this afternoon unbeliveable stuff well done to all today's underdogs for a massive giant killings magic of the cup still alive.
