Hello YorkshireLad
Its true the next few days and weeks will show how much you want to stop. Why wait til then to work out if the blocks are good enough? What blocks do you have and how might you be able to gamble if you were to choose to? Cut them roads off and you can have another calm and financially stable 25+ days to follow.
All the best.
Day 45 - Still feeling good, World Cup tommorow need to stay strong and not give in to temptation.
Well done YL! I agree sports betting can be easier to try to think you can control small bets, but it’ll always get you in the end
Day 58 - just been paid. My mate showed me a winning slip of a treble on the horses cashed out for 670 before the last race. Had got me thinking today about betting but I’m sure I’ll be okay.
Hi YorkshireLad
Well done on the 58 days, that is great going.
The £670 your mate won is completely irrelevent to any of us - we would only then lose it and more over the following days/weeks. Keep strong.

Stay strong YorkshireLad........remember allot of people only talk about the winnings and never the losses. Think about that aswell
Well done on your 58 days thats a awesome achievemeny......Me personally am up to 97 days GF
So guys I am back...unfortunately I fallen into the trap of gambling...when the football game on having the odd accumulator here and there then I won a few hundred pounds and thought it may be the start of something and back I was luckily I’ve not even lost a quarter of the money I won but that’s not the point I don’t want to fall back into that trap. So here I am my last bet was on the 13th September 2018. Signed up to GamStop, Self Excluded local bookies and I have Gamban installed on my phone although there is a way around that which I am going to email them about tommorow. Seen as it is officially Friday now I can call this day 1 to the rest of my happy and stress free life. Happy days indeed!
Get those blocks in place even stronger this time mate, its never easy after a relapse so well done on getting back on track so soon you know what has to be done as you have been here before ...... my vice was football betting as well and i once thought i could not enjoy a match unless i had a bet on it, but things do get better with time and i now enjoy watching matches for what they are .... all the best and keep making the right choices as you know its the better option.

100% mate. I dread saturdays now the mornings can be unbearable thinking about betting seeing my mates with all there accas on, but I know we are programmed differently to normal people and there is now no such thing as a harmless bet.
Day 1 done. Busy day at work, few beers after and a game of snooker to keep myself busy. Had gambling thoughts on my mind at work but afterwards kept myself busy and didn’t think of them at all.
Day 2,3 and 4 boxed off. Saturday I played rugby and had our presentation night was hard not putting a small acca on before but all the blocks are in place and the urges went. Had a good night Saturday and went out for a few beers and a carvery Sunday afternoon which was good. Monday back at work no gambling urges at all and I’m only commenting on this at this time because I have been on call all night and only just finished happy days!!
Day 5 work was good, went to the gym few of my mates were putting bets on for tonight’s games but I distanced myself from that conversation and concentrated on my workout. Got told I was getting a little rise at work starting in the end of November’s pay rise so I’m just working out what kind of savings account i can put it in to
Day 6,7 and 8 no gambling thoughts been going to the gym straight after work by the time I’ve got home and had some tea I’m that tired it’s more or less time for bed. I always used to gamble when I was bored and slowly I am filling that time with other things.
Affected by gambling?
