Well, Day 1, 22.06.2018. I have talked to people on Gamcare and registered with Gamstop. I need to do this. It will be hard, it has been a big part of my life for many years. After registering with Gamstop I almost went into a panic and thought what have I done? I also clicked the 5 year exclusion. I am feeling a bit better now.

Life gets better, casinos become a thing of the past, Gamstop helps with the urges as there is no point trying, your brain begins to accept it and the urges pass

Thankyou Nonchaser, it is definately a brain thing. The Anxiety and feelings of desperation are now getting a bit less. I would be lying if I said I would not have started again. I think if I had not gone with Gamstop I would have given innto temptation. What a brilliant site that is. Hope people take advantage of it. The panic after you hit that button is pretty awful but so worth it.

Have you though about counselling cassie51?
The sessions I have had so far have helped massively.

Thankyou Magnetism and Whatsmyname, its scary how close I got to losing so much. Its been 6 days now gambling free. I still feel the urge at times but quickly think about something else. I spent so much of my time in front of a laptop screen, watching little men rolling round or animals, the graphics themselves are so addictive, that I am finding it hard to keep occupied. I will keep the counselling as an option, glad it is helping x
