Hi Gavin

Hope your feeling ok? Keep accepting all the help you can. There's plenty. Gamcare, gamblers anonymous, support groups, counselling. Take on board as much as you can.

Hi Gavin, i can def relate to your story, and the relapses, i went nearly 2 years without a gamble then wham bang in the spare of few mins i was back on the demon train again.

One thing we need to get clear, as we cannot win from the addiction, it will win , never us. There is more to life than gambling, theres so much help out there, take it ! 178 days was amazing, showing you ca n do it. One thing i am working on is trying to sort myself out as to why do i choose addiction. Facing up to life is pretty scary, addiction masks life , we need to start living again.

All the best

Gavin

23 days Remember

And hey Gavin, yes and in the 178 days I really never thought about gambling, as i haven't in the last 23 days.

I think my problem is that I am an All or nothing kind of guy with an addictive personality so if I set my mind to it I can do the nothing very easily but one little slip and I am back gambling full time and then it is very hard to break the habit. Most of the time its boredom which sets my off gambling or major sporting events which I always used to bet on. I just stay clear of all bookies now and I am blocked from all sites.

Trying my best
