Keep spewing on here hun and yes even I got mad just reading about your brother there too..and my heckles went up ...so god knows how you feel ...

Oh Blondie,

I just dropped in to see if you had your mums results today. What an extra blow from out of the blue - you must feel turned inside out.

I'm not surprised you are angry with your brother! It in no way excuses his behaviour, but could he be one of those people who can't handle talking about things he is really freaking out about? Often people like this obsess about something trivial to keep their mind off the really scary problem. BUT of course they are absolutely appalling to be around, when this happens as it's so insensitive and selfish. I can't imagine how you restrained yourself from knocking him out cold!

Anyway, sometimes there is nothing that can be said, other than I am wishing for better things for you and your loved ones.

thank you everyone for your posts and thoughts it touched my heart.

So mum has been moved to another hospital where they specialise in angiagrams, she will have it done in the morning and then a stent in the arteriy if needed, we dont have any results as yet from her biopsy but there is something there but we dont know what and what stage yet, the cardio surgeon cant really speak to her about treatment or results in detail yet so once she has had here heart procedure tomorrow as she is back in the hospital where the results are hopefully someone from the breast care team will speak to her.

She is much better today and looks better and hasnt had any pain today which is good, so i suppose its one step at a time get tomorrow morning over with then see whats next.

I feel a bit calmer today, I think your so right freda my brother is hyding from how he is feeling and has rang me a number of times today to ask would i take him for paint....... I bit my tongue.... He did go up to the hospital tonight but had a mood on him maybe its because i didnt take him for paint.......FACE BOVVVERRDDD .. lol....

I put some credit on my mums hospital tele before when i visited so now i have a direct number i can ring her on just had a lovely chat and a laugh with her and wished her good night and told her how much i love her.

Fingers crossed and prayers said for tomorrow, off to try and get some sleep as didnt get much last night.

Thinking of you today and your mum is in the best place right now ..she is in good spirits and out of pain which is a big positive ....

Your brother is probably in a lot of denial and his way of dealing with it is to distract himself..

if you can ..put him to work in that expensive car of his and get him to do a bit of chauffeuring and running around doing jobs to save you driving everywhere.

Post when you can .....your mum will be able to get the right treatment and there is so much for her to look forward to and keep her mind on with your wedding plans ....

Keep close and keep your man closer xx..remember Hun ..you don't have to carry all this alone ..xxxx

Just wanted to say your own health is important too and you are coping so well with everything that has been thrown at you but as Rach says do make use of help from others, will make them feel good too that they can do something for you at a difficult time.

I am the only girl out of 3, and it boils my pee how guys can get away with behaviour like that, whereas we would get a right tongue lashing if we were so selfish and insensitive. Daughters usually seem to take more of the strain, while the sons are off brooding. Shouldn't be that way, but it is one of those weird gender inequalities that is yet to be changed. more is always expected of daughters than sons.

Anyway, just wanted to share that I knew where you were coming from on that one. Doesn't make it any easier to deal with!

I'm glad your Mum is in good spirits. It probably hasn't sunk in for any of you yet - but that's never a bad thing, when you've had a nasty shock like that.

Can only echo what others have said. Make sure you look after you amid all this, and I'm hoping for better for you all. Stay close if it helps, but likewise if you can't keep posting, that's OK too.
