Just realised I hadnt posted on my diary. Didnt make my meeting tonight which i felt quite annoyed about earlier but that has passed as there wasnt much I could do about it, had a bit of an out of the blue escalation that had to be dealt with NOW so it was a late one.
So a compromise for me is i will go on the GA on line meeting now.
I booked a wowcher thing yesterday for a haunted house experience at ryecroft hall which used to be a hosptial or mental assylum and is quite haunted apparently, im bricking it already but it should be a good laugh. I will be hyding for most of the night.
I seem to do treat tuesday without even thinking now.
All is good in the blondie house, No gambling today, no thoughts, no urges and no interest...
Just how i like it 🙂

Haunted house , scary scary lol lol , i'm a bit of a woss tbh , my brain is so highly wired and i analyse everything so much i would give myself a heart attack lol
Can't even watch scary programmes or films lol , i remember going to see Jurassic Park , was a bit merry at the time and got home laying in bed believing big bad dinosaurs were coming to get me lol lol
Enjoy all that life brings for you now you are bet free , you deserve it 🙂

You're one of the most honest, intelligent and emotionally receptive persons on this sight, whenever I read your posts I learn and understand a little bit more about myself. You can put into words what I never knew I was feeling so thank you for that. I hope your feeling better and the cold sores have gone. My own personal record is four in one go when I was very run down, I could empty supermarkets and the school I was in at the time had a whip round and sent me to Lourdes. Yet in the dark I was happy. Hope you have a lovely weekend and take care.

So I did my bit to try and carrry the message last night and chaired the on line GA meeting, was quite a few people on and lasted over 2 hours.
Short term memory has lead me back to gambling many times, This time it will be different, this time i can control it.. Yeah Right !!!
I try and read at least one new diary every day it reminds me the reasons why im here, its all to easy to forget how I felt when i hit my rock bottom and no i dont want to live in it every day but i need to remember, like anything its finding that middle lane.
So its fridayyyyyyy and i get to see the love of my life tonight... Always always brings a smile to my face.
I have a few busy weeks coming in work and am off down south for a week soon, it will be quite a stressfull period for me but i will take it all in my stride and deal with it when it comes.
Im currently trying to train woody to come back with a whistle he seems to have a will of his own lately, its quite funny im walking round the garden blowing a whistle treating him, that women of its me or the dog better watch out lol.
Onwards and upwards everyone. One day at a time.

I wish I could tackle a new diary each day, I also agree with that, I have only been gamble free around 3 months so I tend to try and support the new ones posting. Help's me and as you say reminds me of my first time why I posted here, dont think I can offer any advice for the longer posters here but would eventually like to read everyones. Help's me sooo much.
