Get busy living... Or get busy dying..

Thanks for the supportive post on my diary a few days ago. You're not doing so bad yourself, nearly 6 months I think. Funny, after the first two months it was reasonably easy for 6 or 7 months, then it's suddenly got hard again. The finances are ticking over OK but I think I'm fed up of scrimping and saving, and (like all CG) I want a wad or two to spray around. I'm still clean, though, and I'm certainly determined to make a year.

hope your having a great weekend, the dog training going well , I have resigned myself that monsieur hovis the free spirited whippet is past training lol!!! Our joe took him over the field out back last week, when he let him off he turned and ran home !! Waited at the door!!! Lol joe refuses to let him off now.

I enjoyed your last post and yes posting, reading new diaries does help, a double edged sword you may say !!

I think you should join Steg right at the top of page 1 today! Both of you have reached brilliant milestones! 6 months gamble free! I think you have said on a number of occasions you had tried many times before but this time is different! You have come here, you have supported others, you have told those closest to you, attended GA! You have just put everything in to recovery! A real heart on your sleeve kinda girl/lady whichever you prefer lol! You have become a popular and integral part of this forum! My only hope is that you remain here and I can send a similar message in another 6 months! Approach life how you have for the last 6 and I know I will be sending that message!

Today i reach another milestone 6 Months gamble free..

Have you ever had an epiphany? One of those “a-ha” moments where something just clicks for you?

Thats how i feel i wonder sometimes why it took me so long to get it but as ive said before its better late than never.

Whatever the reason for my insigt that moment and the past 6 months gamble free has brought me a deeper understanding of me and the deeper my understanding becomes the more I get it.

The secret to happiness for me is acceptace of me, of the things I have done , of the person I was, I have accepted that and i understand it and I forgive myself !!

I am proud of what I have done, why wouldnt I be. The path is the way. !!

Life is for living good, bad, stressfull, sad whatever life throws at me I have dealt with it, and i can deal with it.

I wasted sooo much of my time and my life on gambling,

TODAY I continue to join the land of the living .

Good morning, you stole a whole month on me LOL. I am with great pride 9 months gamble free today, but with honesty I would give that month to anyone if it would just make them see what a life there is to be had Gamble free.

A massive well done to you on your latest milestone, I think today irrespective of the time behind us my dear friend, We do simply sing from the same page!!!!
