Evening scottyboy.

Fella sounds like your addiction has had you chasing your loses.

You have to forget them my friend, you cannot win them back.join the gamble free bus, do something amazing, give yourself a 100% payrise.

There is that triangle fella

Time -Money - Location take one away, the punt impossible and you afford that addled brain a chance to re- programme itself .

Stick to your diary,it helped you abstain and will again.

Better that tomorrow.

Ahhh Scotty gutted for you fella.

Any ideas why you slipped or was it just the urges got the better of you. Gotta learn to control those slippery urges my man. Hopefully you can learn from this and see another way. We must accept that there is no long term entertainment from gambling. Sure you may have had a brief bit of excitement but your last post doesn't suggest you got any fun from losing £500. The highs last minutes, the lows for days. It's not a fair balance so let it go. The gambling gods have not deemed you to be a winner in life from this. It's time to cut it loose. Come be an ex gambler. The rewards are far greater. My winning streak has extended to 53 days now. In the grand scheme of time you're only just behind me. Will support you all the way. Please accept defeat and give it up for good. Best wishes.

G

HI Scottyboy,

Well done for coming back and not giving up trying to beat this addiction.

Im sure your feeling pretty rubbish right now and beating yourself up but go easy on yourself scottyboy and try and learn something from your slip. What did you learn ? I learnt that I cant place not 1 single penny on gambling because once i start i cant stop, therefore I dont place that first bet.

Be positive scotty , you can do this .

Take care

Hi Scottyboy,

We've both just relapsed and I too restarted my journey and got through my first day without a bet.

Let's support each other. It's weird why we continue to waste our money on gambling, so the addiction is so strong but as long as we don't give up not giving up.

I feel cr** too but give it a week and those losses will be a lesser burden to carry.

Have a good weekend pal

Hi Scottyboy,

Thanks for your post mate. Yeah we both f***** up at the same time, I keep f*****g up because I love gambling but now I really do need to give up. Installed software today and had a password added to block all gambling sites, so really pleased I've made this step. I'm not going bowling now tonight mate, the weather is s**t and I just can't be arsed or want to spend the money and talk to all of my step-dads friends all night. I just don't want to socialise anymore, I just sit in my room. Hopefully this will change eh, but at the moment I feel a bit cr** and want to be quiet.

We've gone two days now mate, I've got through my first sat without a bet. Let's smile and remain strong, let's do this

Scottyboy

fella store that s**t feeling you have somewhere in that brain,i still have mine, the last walk of shame, the day gambling beat me had me licked.

When it rears its ugly head to tell me it is different now.

I bring that memory to the fore and my resolve has a little smile.

Just for today fella, your tomorrow got bettered.

Keep making the choice.

Morning mate,

Good to see you back here! You were doing so well before and I think when you have a slip its important to look back and remember the things you were doing right before it happened! I remember you were posting regularly you were very positive and racking up those bet free days! As Duncs said hold that s**t feeling you had and remember it because its something you don't want to experience again!! By getting back here and posting again you are massively helping you chances of a happier life!

Stay strong mate,

Flagg
