Cheers Mixer, I won't gamble today, you sort of know when you're going to gamble, you put certain things in place that gives you the opportunity to have a punt. I've got neither the will or the inclination to get round barriers to get near any money. Off to work at three with only a fiver in my pocket. Today I'm choosing life over misery.
Day 10, nothing to get excited about, 30 odd years of compulsive gambling & you're just waiting for the next car crash to come around the corner. Need to put everything in context, yes I could be in a much better financial position if I hadn't spent many years throwing my money away but I've a roof over my head, beer in the fridge & a decent job. The money will take care of itself as long as I can stay away from that first bet.
Forget yesterday. It's gone and what matters is today and tomorrow. I've lost over £150k over my life and I shudder to think of the exact amount. But no point dwelling. Are you choosing life over misery today, that's the question. I believe you are. Good Man.
