I quit. I feel much more alive like before I understand many things now that I didn't even want to see it or didn't even think that it's literally addiction and you need to admit it and be brave and call the number and seek for help. I'm clean so far 21 days but when there is knock knock on my shoulder and always refuse and I won't gamble again and I mean it. I'm always looking forward to see my therapist and remember one thing gambling companies always win you win once twice but they will 99% so remember one thing seek for help stop lying and you will be much happier person. Stand up and quit real life is much more beautiful than when you locked to gambling addiction. Remember that once you was small little baby who never lied do it for you and for your loved ones and stop. I will post monthly recovery diary. Good luck to everyone and never give up learn to refuse that knock on your shoulder and never gamble again.

Hi

You say quit.

I tend to think that I have surrendered to the fact that Gambling is very unhealthy and self destructive for me.

I feel much more alive.

That I am more alert not nervous, that I am reducing and healing my pains and becoming healthier and more whole.

Some view going to the recovery program is a sign of weakness, not for me going to the recovery program is a sign that I am starting to value a much healthier way of living.

For me just for today I won't gamble.

Slow baby steps.

I have been to eleven therapist and counsellors and it was well worth while.

For me to stop lying I reduced my fears.

In the recovery program not only do I abstain from gambling but I have learned to peel back the onion and learn to heal my pains.

Pains in my life caused fears in me which were very unhealthy for me to live in.
