For me the recovery program is not a fight but more of a surrender to the fact just for today only I will not gamble.
The word fight would imply a lot of time focused on not gambling.
When in fact surrender is about surrendering all time and effort in to writing down my needs my wants and my goals.
To focus on healthy motivation.
Often procrastination is not being productive in healthy ways.
Sadly during my addictive and obsessive ways I was being unhealthy and emotionally vunerable.
Being emotionally vunerable did not mean that I was unable to get focused on to healthy habits.
For me the recovery program is about healing our pains.
For me the recovery program is about exchanging my unhealthy habits in to healthy habits.
Living in pain and fear is not healthy for me.
For me being in the recovery program is about making much healthier choices in every day things.
