Hiya pinksparkle, ive been meaning to do the rounds but just havent found the time, wanted to do it sunday after the thread finished but ended up working. On that note congrats on the 17 weeks and congrats on completing the thread, getting to 90 days and beyond is a big step so its something to be very proud of i think your doing brilliant and it was a pleasure having you on the thread. I have decided to do another one because i dont want my focus slipping, its gonna start november and i'll put details up on sunday, be great to have you on board again but as i have said to others you gotta do whats best for your recovery so if you wanna joined that'd be great to have you but if you think you wanna give this one a miss no worries.

Oops haven't posted for a wee while. Still gamble free - over 18 weeks! Will defo join the new thread Dave - will look out for details. Thanks to everyone else for their replies.

Had my tribunal case but it has been rescheduled till Nov - aargh! Just want it over and done with already! Still waiting to hear about one job, also applied for a temp marketing job today - it will only be for around 4 weeks but may go perm. Money isn't great but better than Jobseekers.

Got word I have got through to interview stage for a civil service job - really please over 15000 people applied! Just waiting for more details on interview date.

I have been doing more online competitions recently and drum roll...... I have won not one but two TVs!!! So pleased, I have been entering them on and off for years but since I haven't been working I have been doing more. Hubby is well pleased.

That's all for now - got a wedding to look forward to this weekend - 2 day event - tally ho!!!

You sound so happy and positive and absolutely well done on your achievement.

One lesson I have learnt at my GA meetings is to deal with "the moment", the crisis point of making the decision to gamble and suffer the consequences or to walk away and carry on to have total peace of mind. It is such a critical split second decision to make but is made easier since I made the decision to admit to my family and husband the true extent of my addiction, they now help me to live and pass through the moment and make sense of the now alway's right choice I make.

18 weeks is an absolutely fantastic achievement and long may you progress further.Also best wishes with your job situation.

Oops have neglected my diary of late. Now 21 weeks free from online gambling. Had a pretty busy few weeks. Had a fab time at my cousins wedding then last week I went on a 4 day break to Holland. Have an interview this week on Thursday, hoping it goes well! Hope everyone out there is good x

23 Weeks free from online gambling - yippee!!!

I must admit, I had a few fleeting moments thinking about it but I pushed them aside and concentrated on the faces of the people I love. Had some good news this week - got an email from the civil service to say that I had passed the interview stage but they don't have a vacancy for me at the moment but will contact me when one arises. Hope it's not too long - I am still looking for a job to do me for the moment so fingers crossed something turns up soon.

Been thinking about Xmas and how tight things will be - I am going to sell a TV that I won through a competition so I have some money to buy presents. Not going to stress about it too much as my family know I have little money.

26 Weeks Gamble Free!!!

Haven't posted for a while. Got a job that will do me up to Xmas, then need to find something else! The money will come in handy. Going to put my Xmas decos up tomorrow and start to get some festive spirit into my house. Hope everyone out there is keeping well!!!
