Thanks Steve and Cheryl,

323 days of winning in every way by abstaining and maintaining.

Still learning quite a lot from the new the job its ok, it's not stressful like my last job (not yet anyway lol) so not as challenging but that is ok too at this time, the aftermath of years gambling still haunts me, not like at the start of my journey, but there are reminders of what I did nearly every day, my recovery is too strong now to relapse. And the reminders and coming on here keep me focused on the reality of what gambling can and does do to us, it truly is a horrendous self destructive addiction, of which I never want to go back to,.

I am not thinking of why I gambled anymore, I just think I cannot gamble again, simply because I am a CG who would not stop if I even placed one small bet, so my resolve remains by making my right choice which simply is NO BET TODAY.

Wishing everyone a strong positive and happy gamb, ing free day.

Suzanne xx

Thanks Steve, SA and Cheryl.xx

Good Wednesday sunny morning diary,

324 days.

Abstaining and therefore maintaining one day at a time, is the only way forward for me, because simply it is the only way I am winning my life, mind and self respect back, No more stress, no more lies, no more having my head pickled, no more lost into the evil oblivion that is gambling. and that is very positive and possible for me at this time.

My life in recovery, is real, honest, straightforward (as much as it can be lol) and my journey ahead can only get richer in my life as long as I keep choosing to say NO to gambling, and that without a doubt is my choice today.

Wishing everyone a strong determined and positive gambling free day.

Suzanne xx

Thanks John, Gav and Steve xxx

Good morning diary,

325 days and last day in work for the week, I do like this 4 day week lol.

No wish or desire to gamble, it's an evil self destructive mind and soul addiction, that just leaves us totally in the S***e in every way.

Today I will abstain and maintain and WIN

Wishing everyone a strong determined and happy gambling free day.

Well done Suzanne

Not long now to your year abstinence. Try not to focus too much on it though. Like people who look at the sun for too long you can get blinded. Better to look around you and smile at the little people on the ground

Hey up Blondie, just chasing coo coo round the site šŸ˜‰

Yay to that 4 day week...Shame I have to do the odd 7 to enable mine :-0 So very glad that you have found your feet so quickly & relegated Mr Gamble back to the recess of your mind, HD!

It's an early call esp with the anticipated eclipse but I'm confident it will be turning out nice again!

Keep winning ODAAT - Juuuuuune

Hi Suzanne,

That four day week sounds lovely, or at least being done with work for the week on a Thursday does! šŸ˜‰ Eleven months is just around the corner, and its great to see you filled with such optimism and positive thoughts about recovery and banishing gambling from your life.

Hope day 326 proves to be just as enjoyable, and a nice change of pace ready for the weekend!

Ryan
