Great to read that you are settling in to your new job, isn't it great to be able to work with a purpose rather than working indirectly to buy the gambling industry what they desire.

I could have cut out the middle man for many years and just paid my salary and more straight to them! !

326 days today and I am soooo excited about Steve reaching one year, he has surely strengthened my resolve today to keep abstaining and maintaining one day at a time.

Waiting for this eclipse to happen at the moment, it's sunny here in leeds lol.

Weekend off now, have the car for the day, meeting a friend for coffee at lunch time, no thoughts at all to throw my hard earned away, what else could I ask for today. NOTHING, because it is going to be a good day, and it won't cost me a penny, (well maybe coffee) lol.

Ohh HD indeed today, and it sure is going to turn out nice because I will not be gambling, I will be winning instead.

Hi Suzanne, 'it's turned out nice again'...now the eclipse is over. ( perhaps Ginge was expecting a little more cause from where i was standing it just went a little darker for a few mins lol )

it's a good celebratory upbeat forum today so with that sentiment in mind you won't be surprised to hear I'll be traveling..onwards and upwards.

I hear you having coffee today!!! Ummm.jealous over here cause woke up and realised I'm out! God d**n what a panic set for the house lol..nevermind..cup of tea did well. (A little secret here...i think im turning into cup of tea lady :-D)....am i f**k!! Lol...got stocked up on that "energiser" and will kick start my day about now lol

Good morning diary,

327 days today, getting to one year seems to be taking for ever lol, but it is a slow process taking one day at a time.

Don't feel too good this morning, had this hacking cough that kept me awake half the night and my sinuses are playing up feel like I have been punched in the nose lol, so with that and this awful cough, I have no motivation for anything today, at least I will have no motivation to gamble my life away today lol.

My guard will be up tighter today because I know the addiction can creep in or storm in when not feeling good.

328 days of winning, because not one single penny has been wasted on any form of gambling.

Still feeling rough with this horrible continous cough and it's definitely on my chest now, and still no motivation today, just havnt got the energy to do much.

Watched alot of TV yesterday and the gambling and payday loan adverts are really ridiculous, even when feeling poorly you can't get away from them, they don't make me want to gamble or take any PD loans out, but they continuously remind me of what I did.

Both adverts can cause sooo much destruction, and they are not going anywhere anytime soon lol.

On a positive thought last PD loan will be paid off at the end of this month, NO more PD loans round my neck, and I have been able to pay these off by abstaining and maintaining one day at a time.

Thanks for dropping by! Only little strings in stock so I passed & bought myself a shirt instead. I didn't need it but it sure looks good & there was no way I was coming home without spending!

Really love reading your posts, pay day loans are banned in Ireland so we are very lucky. Gambling ads are non stop though! Id say your delighted to pay off that loan. Dont be afraid to treat yourself when you can.

Oh and dont be spreading any germs, no kissing for the next week 🙂
