Good morning diary,
341 days and slowly but surely marching forwards and upwards.
Son did not come round yesterday, so eggs and chat on hold lol.
OH working today, so a quiet day (unless son comes) and other son not coming up now due to car problems.
Staying positive because I am very proud of my abstinence, because it's not easy to keep telling those nasty thoughts to get lost, when they pop up, can't believe they come even when gambling disgusts me, but my choice is loud and clear today No gambling, my recovery journey has 100% priority and I love winning for me and my family by abstaining and maintaining.

Families are fickle creatures and like you I am a fixer.
We both have to learn we can't always fix it cos for others it may not be broken.
Why do cars breakdown on bank holidays and never work days so unfair.

Good Easter morning diary,
342 Days of starving that horrendous addiction and feeling proud.
The last couple of days have been very quiet in this household, (home alone all day lol) but found lots of positive stuff to do to keep me occupied and keep any negative thoughts well at bay.
No family get together today ( Easter eggs still on hold) HDs , but the sun is shining OH is at home, so looks like a nice long walk with doggie in the park, then lawn cutting ( maybe cleaning windows day as it sure has turned out nice again Ohh lol) and then a nice roast chicken dinner not forgetting the new films OH has downloaded for tonight. so a very HD indeed.

343 days today and my commitment to being 100% to keep walking up the recovery road, has been strengthened even more today.
Why because I felt the pain and desperation and frustration from Stephen 2015 this morning, and my feelings of how I felt a year ago came flooding back. like having been given an electric shock, No more I want to say on that.
Have not seen any of my golfballs this weekend but I have not gambled this Easter so that positive will override the negative of a quiet house over the weekend. I will see them all soon enough lol.
It's going to be a lovely day weather wise and I am going to make the most of this beautiful warm spring weather, and it doesn't cost one single penny to watch all the new life in my garden suddenly spring to life.
