EEEEKKKK 🙁 Naughty Mr I wished deserting you like that (lol)!

I am not sure you are right about having to stay with your current provider coz I just bought my niece a phone, just a phone as she refuses to buy credit for it coz she has sussed that if she has WiFi, she can What's App one of us mugs & ask us to get whoever she wants to speak to to contact her!?! She needed to get a p*k code or something that sounds like that from her current provider but just transferred it onto a SIM which the phone was unlocked to! I didn't realise but it works out cheaper to pay for the phone up front (one of the big companies I am told are proving this by reducing contracts after the phone is paid off) so pay as you go is not as bad as it used to be! I have no idea whether any of this will help but sounds like OH may be able to treat you to that new phone after all 🙂

Good morning diary,

363 days of winning and staying focused and calm lol.

Busy morning as we are emptying the garage and taking about half of what's in there to the tip this morning, this job is very long overdue, can't find anything in there because there is so much rubbish in there lol.

Looks like I will be getting a new pay as you go phone, there are some good offers around (and if OH is paying for the phone I can't complain can I lol). At least that will be another direct debit out of the way lol.

Lovely sunny morning here in Yorkshire, looks like it is going to turn out nice today HD.

Good Monday morning diary,

364 days of not one penny spent on any form of gambling, but as always am aware it is very much a one day at a time to keep abstaining and maintaining.

Cant shift this awful chesty cold, but do feel slightly better this morning, a bit more energy lol.

Garage was blitzed out yesterday 2 trips to the tip, quite funny really how getting rid of rubbish can make you feel better, and make your resolve even stronger to keep making the only right choice abstain and maintain.

Another lovely sunny morning in Yorkshire, so I am positive it is sure going to turn out nice today.

So the eve of your first year of continued abstinence.

A year where you have gifted recovery as much effort if not more as you did your gambling life.

Those efforts are clear to see and without doubt you have laid the foundations for a lifetime of abstinence.

Through recovery we have to face up to our past, your credit rating a great example of doing so.

Because without doubt if you were still gambling a new phone wouldn't have even been considered.

I am facing a fare amount of time and continued effort to rebuild not only my own credit rating but sarah's to boot, the consequences of which I simply didn't consider throughout my gambling life.

Addiction will saddle up to negative things that happen in our lives it's the makings of us how we deal with them.

You my friend smashed addiction back into the wilderness.

Never drop the stick you took from it that it beat you with, keep using it to your advantage.

Abstain and maintain

Hey Suzanne well done you! As you know only 3-5% of people stay clean from their addiction & thats any addiction not just gambling for 1 calender year. Your never ending support of others is amazing. Big congrats to you & i will raise a glass to you tonight
