Notice how you are ultra active on the forum since you returned and that can only be a good thing. The site exists and works because people like you are here and long may you stay my friend.
Since I stopped gambling my love for golf as a spectator has just gone through the roof. I honestly cannot think of anything I like watching more. Funny really as I cannot even hit a bloody ball but I am in awe of these pro's. Sounds like you are practising heavily maybe on the road to the PGA Tour?

Today I have awoke feeling free. I am high everybody. Not on drugs. This is natural well being promoted by so many good people on this site. We have all beaten ourselves up regularly, we have all done some terrible things of which we're ashamed in the grip of our addiction, we have lied, cheated, some of us have stolen or borrowed without asking my brother used to call it! We have used emotional blackmail, some of us harmed ourselves.
At the end of the day that's what makes us human and alive. We are all flawed, every person holds secrets and is ashamed of something but we are all good people underneath. We just need a little encouragement sometimes for that good to come out, for us to become confident in what we do, to let go of our fears and brave the world. I am not a gambler, I am someone who has issues with gambling. I have faced my demon head on, I have told everyone, I have no shame left.
Today I would like everyone to think about the person they would like to be, I think about it every day. It's time to stop thinking for me and realise that person. It doesn't happen overnight but I am within touching distance. Only my fear of it on Saturday stopped me. I will continue to step lightly until I'm there.
I hope you lot are with me.

Also people keep complaining they don't know whether I'm on the wind up or being deadly serious. It's this simple, you need to look deeper than words.
Just got myself a new driver today so off to the range to bomb a few balls out of the grounds. Big match next week with some work colleagues so will be practising every day 'cos I really need to show 'em who's boss. I have improved my game by about a dozen shots in the last few weeks. So no messing Dusty!
