Feeling sore tonight, played badminton with my m8 yesterday and by god it shows how unfit I am...... but stick to it and the fitness will return, you might say the process is like being gamble free hard at first but the longer we stay GF the fitter and healthier we become.

Joined back my old golf club on Tuesday as well, so looking forward to getting back on the course and making some birdies 🙂

Anyways time for sleep working early tomorrow but the days keep racking up!!!

Del 177 GF days embracing life and looking forward 🙂

Morning Del!

Didn't realise you were a Glasgow man as well?

Apologies if I've caused any confusion.....it must be the months you've stopped for being longer than in the second half of the year......yesterday you were 182 days.......which is exactly 26 weeks, or half a year!! Ok, so I'm a stupid Glasgow man for not re-reading your first post - lol!!

I'll tell you what......we'll have a celebration week and between us we're bound to get it right - lol!! Ha ha!!

Either way, congratulations mate - you're doing so so well!!

Mr Brightside

Hi diary,

6 months rid of the evil that is gambling. I am loving life just now, so many opportunities out there for me to grab.

Anyway I'm off out to celebrate with my gorgeous wife, shopping day but no booze!!! Badminton tonight #mustgetfitter....

Over and out.

Hey mate

Just a quick check in to offer congrats and a doff of the cap again!! What an awesome achievement and such an aspiration for me! Next stop 200 days and another marker in the road to freedom!!

I lived in Glasgow and the surrounding areas for a number of years but now live in the central belt near Stirling. I work in Glasgow though so am through every day! We should maybe try to catch a beer sometime.

Anyway - hope badminton went well and that you won!!

Keep strong brother

Mr B

Day 191...

I have been quiet this week prob due to my busted knee, gr8 time when the golf season is about to start!!

Ah well on yet another road to recovery !

Thoughts of gambling are like a needle in a haystack, time does ease the pain.

Make the choice to never give up.

Del 🙂

wow been a while since i posted in here, still going strong with 235 days racked up. Daily struggles are normality for us all but these days the good thing is I dont look to hide from these by going for a punt, simply dust myself down and carry on.
