Well done Lou, nearly a full 12 months ? you should be so proud of how far you have come. You have been thrown obstacles in the way and you batted your way through them and didn't give in and gamble. That takes real courage and determination. Well done again ?Â
Hi Lou,
Despite our differences of the past, I sincerely hope you're ok. You said last time on chat you didn't want it to be all about your mental health issues. IT ISN'T, no matter how many days anyone's been GF it's a constant uphill struggle. Another milestone the feeling of euphoria then the next day feeling somethings missing in life. Sometimes it's hard to describe true feelings but if you can take the plunge in my experience it helps. Hope you can find the strength to talk about it on chat soon.
Best

Well Done Loux
One year living gamble free is an amazing achievement. All those gamble free days are hard earnt and you have shown great courage getting through them. I sincerely hope you have noticed some changes for the better in this past year as you continue to build your life away from gambling.
I hope this is one year of many more that you can enjoy living gamble free. Wishing you all the very best

Well done Lou, awesome and long may if continue xx
Hi Lou,
Not seen your around in a while. Hope everything is going ok
Hi Lou,
Now look at your statement " I don't even know if I want to stop ". The thing is Lou, the best counsellor/advisor in the world can't make your mind up for you. In a few days when you've lost everything you have you may well feel you want to stop gambling, until the next pay cheque arrives & you still have false hope of recovering your losses.
This addiction is a nightmare & for sure like many who've trodden the same path you're gonna end up without money for your basic needs like food, rent and heating. Make no mistake this is how your latest bout is gonna end. It's easy to convince yourself you want to stop when it gets to that stage, so my advice is ask yourself before that situation inevitably arises, because for sure it will.
