It almost founds silly saying that, but it is the reality, i’ve been compulsively gambling less than a year, and having viewed some of the time frames on here it makes me realise i’ve got so much to live for. I’m not in debt, have managed to keep some savings and still have no family/friends who know or my problems. However i do have problems. Today i lost £400 in 5 minutes, chasing losses and this is becoming repetitive. I’m exhausted and want to stop for good. This is my dairy of how it goes.

Hi Charlie,
You are wise at 20 to sign up, seek help and communicate. I began gambling compulsively in my 20s when I won 10k from a free competition. I then believed I could make fortunes from gambling, fast forward a year and I'd lost all the money and an extra 10k and had to come clean to my close family. 20 years on I've had 8 years gamble free since then but had two more bad blips which led to debts. I know use this site to read other stories and I've set myself targets. I'm fiercely determined never to gamble again and one of my strength is taking full responsibility for my actions. I sense a strength in you too! Follow other dream, use your god given talents or develop new ones to fill up your time and feel alive as much as possible. Good luck.
