flagg. "the best sunday i have had" hold on to that thought and if the thoughts of having a punt enter your mind and use it as a stick to beat it off with. Well done keep posting and reading diaries and making the right choices, gamble free those sundays will get better. Duncs stepping forward never back.

Hi Flagg, thanks for your kind comments on my diary. I'm really pleased you have got through on to week three and are starting to feel the happiness that can be found when not gambling. Keep going my friend, stay strong, don't give into temptation. You can do this. Regards Bessie.

Day 16,

It is great to write day 16 above as on day 2 and day 3 I was thinking this will be a slow slow recovery and days will drag by. However, that isn't the case and too be honest some days even go too quickly.

Yesterday was good just a normal day at work really I am beginning to like the normality though I think I could get used to it. I didn't play football last night as I usually would on a Monday as I have a minor injury but, I found a way to fill those 2 hours doing little things around the house.

Thank you once again to all those who have posted on my diary I really appreciate the support and I do try to follow the progress of others on here.

Here is to another gamble free day!

Hi Flagg,

Well Done on day 16!

It's good your finding others things to do instead of throwing away your hard earned cash away.

Thanks as always for your support

Your right some days fly by while others when we are not in such a good place seem to drag but i must honestly say i can't believe where the time has gone!

They say as you get older it flies by but i'm just starting to live again so SLOW down lol!

Take Care

Lucy

Good Morning World,

Day 18 - I tell you what this not gambling and people knowing about my addiction is tough going. When it was hidden at least I just put on a brave face everyday so my mood seemed constant. Recently, I cannot even work myself out on a day to day basis. The last two days I have struggled and I have not been able to find the right words to post on the diaries of others.

Today though I feel different. I woke (gradually) in a good mood and I want to feel like this more. I am struggling to get up recently too especially for work. I thought trying to beat this addiction and receiving support would work in the opposite way and I would be bouncing every morning.

Oh well just my thoughts written down sometimes it helps!

Days like today I know I am doing really well and making progress and I would like to feel like this more often. Here's to hoping!

Day 18 - Feeling better than day 17!

Morning Flagg,

Totally agree, it's not easy but the as the days pass more become positive and we do find it easier to cope.

There are always days not so good as you know from my diary lol but hey even those are becoming easier to deal with 🙂

You are doing really well Flagg, day 18 WOW!

Keep going and with support we will win this time!

Have a great bet free day

Lucy

Evening,

To me this journey is liken to a roller coaster ride, my moods go up and down. Then the dark clouds desend and I am really low. But these are happening less and less . Hurray .

I am so pleased today , you feel a bit brighter, I truly hope you do tomorrow. Your posting on other diarys , really lifts that person spirt if they are down. I know that cause you have done that for me.

Tomorrows another day, let's both we are both full of the joys of spring ,even though it will probably be raining again!

Sleep well ,

Dusty x

Hello,

Day 19 - What is it about Fridays? I think I quite like them now because my GA meeting is on a Thursday night and I tend to come out of them pensive but reassured that I'm not the only one! I love these diaries and it's very reassuring to read them and take hope from them but the meetings is a chance to see people face to face!

Anyway, I do ramble! Feel quite good about the day even though I might end up locked up by the end of the day, I swear someone from

Lloyds tsb may perish today haha! Looking forward to the weekend no massive plans but will be nice to

Just chill and not worry about losing hundreds!

Day 19 - feeling good but will commit murder if provoked by Lloyd's!
