Morning Diary,

Day 355 - No work today yet I only stayed in bed about an hour longer than a work day despite having no alarm. Strange creature. Continuing to improve daily and have a positive outlook now rather than just existing and trying to get through the current day. It's going to be a hectic and thoroughly enjoyable April. My 2013 probably started 3 months late but I still intend to make it a good one.

Day 355 - Go!

Think it's been like that for a lot of people with the dreadful winter we have had, so depressing and miserable.

Just know not only your April but whole year will extra special so enjoy and bask in the knowledge of what you have achieved and the support you have so often provided to others.

Morning Diary,

Day 357 - My sister's birthday today. This time last year she was 18 and I couldn't afford to get her a present and was probably as low as I could possibly ever be. Crazy to think I continued to gamble for another week after not sure what I thought that would do. 1 year on and things are very different. She will be on that plane to Barcelona with me on Thursday. I have started to turn things around, it's a long process but it's been a good start.

Hello Diary,

Day 358 - It has been a good weekend and having today off too is an added bonus. Guess I have never really appreciated the Easter break before.

Today is a day I have had marked off for a long long time. I have been putting £1 a day into a pot since I started my diary. This is spending money for Barcelona and today I get to smash the pot. I had been looking forward to doing this but in the last few days I have actually been thinking it's been symbolic of my recovery to date and want to leave it intact. Oh well it is being smashed at 11.30 and recovery will continue without it.

Day 358 - Smashed!

Morning Diary,

Day 359 - Good day yesterday managed to get a few new things and then pretty much pack everything for holiday. Got a busy couple of days so pleased to get that out of the way.

No problems to report on the gambling front very much back on an even keel and added bonus that I will be in Barcelona whilst this week's grand national meeting is on.

Day 359 - Packed!

Afternoon Diary,

Day 360 - All is fine stating to look forward to holiday now. This time tomo will be unpacked and in Barcelona. Been a long time coming but staying bet free has made it possible and that little more special.

Day 360 - 3 hours left at work!
