Hi Flag

Just wanted to say hi and so good to see remaining gamble free and keeping strong and focused - even when you are feeling fed up at times. This can be a huge trigger so well done for not giving in to old devil called gambling!!

Hope you are soon rested well and you are feeling more revived .

Take care.

Flagg,

Lovely to read your diary and see you going along nicely. Love seeing the day count and look forward to being at a similar number.

Don't worry about feeling down - time spent in Scotland can do that to you it's the weather. I always wonder what clothing people from outside Scotland pack to come to our great country. I have many a family picture at the beach in July with everyone wearing winter coats with hoods up.

Take care.

Tomso.

Morning Diary,

Day 383 - Thanks for the posts everyone.

Really pleased to see Friday. Football season ended last week so haven't got to dash out of bed Saturday morning either. I will still be up early no doubt but I like having the option. Crazy really!

Not a great deal else to report. Mentioned the other day I feel like I have turned a corner the next step is just to straighten up and regain some consistency. Being a bit tired isn't so bad but made me feel like I had taken half a step back. 2 steps forward this weekend then that's the plan.

Day 383 - 2 Step!

Good Morning,

Day 385 - Currently taking a bit of a beating from the old man flu. Do the dosages get worse or are my fighting qualities diminishing with age? Certainly not on top of the world either way.

In much better news gambling remains absent from my life. Fantastic to see a fair few still going strong on the 2013 thread with May on top of us everyone should be very proud of their achievement to date.

Day 385 - Still going strong!

Morning World,

Day 387 - Back to the early starts at work. I actually quite like them once I have woken up. Tend to be pretty productive and it allows me to update my diary first thing whilst the mind is fresh.

I was reflecting on Sunday, I felt pretty rubbish all day combination of a late Friday night and the man flu virus. I spent virtually the whole of Sunday in the house alone and it wasn't until I had lifted myself from the sofa for a shower about 6pm that gambling even crossed my mind. I think for people who have just stopped gambling they should take great heart from this. Once you break the habit your mind becomes free. In the past gambling consumed my whole day and all my thought processes. A year later and it was just a passing thought infact I only really thought about it because I realised I hadn't thought about it, the mind boggles.

Anyway, just my little thought for the day there. No matter how low or how consumed you may be by this addiction you can turn it around.

Day 387 - Early start!

Hello Diary,

Day 388 - 1st May? Really? I do get a little obsessed with time but seriously is this year in fast forward or what?

Man flu still lingering which is pretty annoying constantly blowing my nose and coughing. A miracle is going to happen today, I have to believe that. Barcelona will overturn their 4-0 deficit from last week! Very wishful thinking but at 7.45 tonight I will believe!

Day 388 - Miracles!
