hello everyone

I want to start this now as I feel it can help me out a lot. To be honest I'm not using this website to the full at the moment and hardly visiting. Today is day 29 for me but here is some info.

I am currently around £2,700 in debt, maybe a little more due to gambling. I have self excluded from all of the online accounts I have. So that shouldn't really be a problem anymore. I hardly use in shop bookies anymore as I also ensure I don't carry ID with me (I'm 20 and always get asked). I don't have any cash in my wallet or card to tempt me either so it's going quite well for me so far.

I know 29 days isn't that much but this is the longest I've gone since I've turned 18 without a bet and I'm proud of that.

Last September I was doing well and won around £20,000 from only £500 (overdraft) which I eventually lost. I tried to turn the 20k into another easy 2k on 'easy tennis bet'. Ill let you guess what happened as I'm still sick thinking about it to this day.

Thank you for reading and I hope I can share help and eventually some advice of my own to help all of you guys and girls out who suffer like me and trying to stop this horrible addiction

Hi Ryan you're going well mate nearly a month in I know you've been struggling with the urges and you have not acted on them so that's a huge positive. The debt will come down just try and not do it to quickly get some advice about it speak to the lenders. You need to have some money for you otherwise it will only cause resentment and that may push you back to gambling.

Keep using here it's a great tool and place to get things out in the open.

Hello Dean mate. Thanks for the support mate, I feel like I'm getting stronger each day. My first day was good but since it was my first day it felt confusing and now I'm tired haha. Take care pal and keep up the good work!
